No, Tappara said they'd rather not have him be selected for the tournament and the federation respected that. He was never selected for it.

Don't worry, he'll be back to his normal self in the WHC. Probably a one-time thing. I've seen him **** up so many scoring chances that I'm not going to change my mind about him until he does something useful in a more meaningful game than this one.

Color me shocked this Swedish team isn't scoring. A first line and a bunch of glorified grinders.

Seriously, it took Mårts 55 minutes of pure crap to realize that Hjalmarsson, Söderberg and Arlbrandt should play together. They were Sweden's best line yesterday, and they only got to play together a few minutes. Says a lot about the rest of the team... If Mårts separates that line for the game tomorrow, we know for sure he doesn't give a crap about winning.

Garl 02-08-2013 04:20 AM

Not a single result at this tournament will make me surprised. Heck, it's an ODDEST hockey games people!

Srsly, it's a typo or sarcasm from Thread Starter?

Jussi 02-09-2013 06:37 AM

What a horrendous goal song they have for Finland in Sweden...
