Tim Gleason vs Milan Lucic 28 Jan 2013

Meh scrap, nothing really landed. Tug fest.

MichiganWolverines 01-28-2013 07:04 PM

Draw, not many punches landed in this fight. Great effort from both players.

Oates2Neely 01-28-2013 07:12 PM

Gleason clinging to Lucics jersey like a 3yr old boy clings to his moms skirt. I'd like to see this revisited, this time without Gleason hanging on for dear life.

Bi Coastal Bawse* 01-28-2013 07:14 PM

Was expecting this now I wait

Lucic with the narrow win.

Milan Lucic was 19 years old in that fight. Tim Gleason was 25.

How's that relevant to the fight record? That same year Milan Lucic decisively won a fight against David Clarkson.

Draw!!! good job by Gleason again a way larger man

Bi Coastal Bawse* 01-28-2013 08:07 PM

Basically this fight sucked and was boring just a jersey tussle really

Soderberg 01-28-2013 08:37 PM

Pretty boring hug fight. Thought Lucic had him at the end but Gleason's jersey went over his head and Lucic didn't hit him like that.

Doesn't change the fact that he clung to Lucic's jersey here and lost (by a small margin).

JimLaheyprobert 01-28-2013 08:48 PM

8 times out of 10 lucic would dominate gleason, gotta give gleason credit for stepping up to lucic tho. I still think orr, thorton or lucic are the candidates for heavyweight of the eastern conference. When toronto plays boston lets see who wins between those guys.

Fire Julien 01-28-2013 09:00 PM

Lucic was crowned the winner by the experts

Gleason wins.

Shows how far Lucic has come.
Not a great fight. Gleason early, and then Lucic comes on with a late flurry. Call it a draw.

ZenMaster* 01-28-2013 10:21 PM

Lucic is Gleason's *****

Lucic was gassed before the fight started and Gleason was looking to do some grappling. I'd still call it by the narrowest of margins for Lucic.

 oh man you guys really do see things in a whole different light.

Gleason early with Lucic finishing strong, textbook draw. A case could probably be made for either player.

Apparently people see things in a different light going both ways, unless you're ignoring the people who said it was a clear win for Gleason or that Lucic is Gleason's *****?

Not ignoring anyone, and good on the fans keeping a level head, of course if you look through that first page when it comes to your fellow B's fans the majority either gave Lucic the win or made excuses for the draw, so take that however you'd like.

It was a hockey fight. Everybody wins.

A draw! Looked like T.Gleason was holding on for dear life. Had Luc tied down pretty good.
