He's not getting the same ice time or opportunities that Galchenhuk is.

Really guys? After 6 games? :biglaugh:

HooliganX2 01-30-2013 11:30 PM

Way to early for a thread like this. If under 10 games change someones opinion that's just fickle.

Andrighetto Fabolous 01-30-2013 11:32 PM

1 - Galchenyuk
2 - Yakupov
3 - Trouba
4 - Murray
5 - Rielly
6 - Lindholm
7 - Reinhart
8 - Forsberg
9 - Grigorenko
10 - Dumba

dan1el 01-30-2013 11:32 PM

1-Yakupov

3-Murray
4-Galchenyuk

10-Ceci

This is not accounting for team needs.

Basing my rankings on future projections, not 5 NHL games.

frankthetank91 01-31-2013 12:40 AM

Anyone not putting Yakupov #1 is wrong. And I hate the Oilers.

TheHudlinator 01-31-2013 12:53 AM

I don't get how anyone but Yakupov is #1.

Huh? Yak is getting more TOI, more PP time and plays with more offensive linemates.

Yak still goes #1 at this point in time, but at least get your facts straight.

Xokkeu 01-31-2013 01:32 AM

The exact same as mine would have been in June.

Nothing has changed ins 7 months? Why do scouting agencies bother to adjust their rankings as the season progresses?

Yeah, every 1st overall always turns out to be the best player in the draft, right? Or you just have a super legit crystal ball?

Came here to say the same thing.

Yakupov might become the best offensive player between the two. But that not mean he'll be the best in his overall play. Im a homer, but I watched all Oilers games and all Habs games (as of now) and, right now, it aint a tough choice to make : Galchenyuk, is well more rounded defensively.

I'd pick Tyler Seguin 10 times outta 10, before Taylor Hall.

1) Galchenyuk
2) Yakupov
3) Grigorenko
4) Trouba
5) Vasilevski
6) Forsberg
7) Rielly
8) Murray
9) Lindholm
10) Reinhart

ResilientBeast 01-31-2013 08:40 AM

People who are changing their lists 6 games into the season are delusional. The order should be the exact as back in June.

I always saw Yak-Galch as an extremely similar scenerio (aside from the knee injury) to Hall-Seguin also...
