Last season seemed like a lifetime ago..

I don't see Goc injecting any energy tonight directly, but rather indirectly. With him in the lineup he's providing a lot more ice time and allowing some players to get some much needed rest with this condensed season.

I'm hearing a lot of great things about MacKinnon..

I'd like to see Huberdeau and Shore play well and maybe grab some points and lose. Funny how that's a more reasonable expectation than a win at this point.

My predicition is Goc makes his return, doesn't have an immediate impact, makes a questionable play, team loses and then all of us here are squeezing into this beauty:

Goc is a lot better player than most people (non panther fans) give him credit for. That said though this is his first game in like forever and I'm not really expecting him to contribute tonight.

We don't win tonight unless the whole team shows up. Our younger guys have to seize the opportunity and do something with the minutes they are going to get. When Guds and Berg get back that's 2 less spots in the line-up. As Lindsay said the other night, the door of opportunity is open, time to do something with it.

I won't be able to see the game until late tonight or tomorrow. Have fun in the GDT.

I cannot promise that's the second line, just what I was anticipating. Note that Kopecky was skating with the top line in practice, don't know what it will really be. Just know that all those guys are likely to play and Goc returning, I assume Parros but I do not know that for sure.

Kopescky is a much better wing than center. hoping u r correct...

I'm so glad Goc is back and it looks like Weiss will be in the lineup on Sunday with Gudbranson possibly back on Tuesday. We'll be the closest to healthy as we can get next week for awhile, so now's a better time than ever to put these last five games behind them and go on a winning streak.

I always hate playing Winnipeg though. Sure, these games are incredibly entertaining but they drive me crazy with the typical close score and plenty of physicalness and clutching/grabbing that goes on which leads to penalties. I think coming out to a quick start will help tremendously and scoring the first goal could dictate momentum for the rest of the game.
