Passing to Brenden Morrow is the hockey equivalent of punting

I honestly don't think I have seen him successfully catch a pass yet this year.

As he's not a football player, I don't see what the problem is....

Raym11 02-04-2013 04:06 PM

no hand passes in hockey man soz...

Grats to London on winning the Super Bowl though, they were really good at running the base lines, that one hook shot to slam dunk that the guy with the big legs did was impressive.

Is punting kinda important in golf?

Analyzer 02-04-2013 04:07 PM

I like Morrow, or did. I gotta say, though, this is one of the funniest titles. Gave me a definite chuckle.

Modo 02-04-2013 04:10 PM

I would've said it's more like an interception, but whatever.

Dwight Schrude 02-04-2013 04:11 PM

Always like Brendan Morrow. He always gave the Sharks a huge fit.

ditto. I only clicked the thread to reply with.. 'well done on the title'.

Axman 02-04-2013 04:24 PM

2 points in 9 games and a minus 2 isn't what I expected although maybe he heats up a bit with top line minutes due to the Whitney injury.

Machinehead 02-04-2013 04:25 PM

Why do Stars fans hate him so much?

Didn't he score the 4OT goal a few years back?

Excellent title OP

RogerRoeper* 02-04-2013 04:42 PM

Morrow is reaching that age where his style of play has punished his body so much, it's really going to be a steep drop-off very quickly for him.

CCF 02-04-2013 04:45 PM

Always been a fan of his. Good Sask guy!

What seems to be the issue? Age catching up?

roach9 02-04-2013 04:49 PM

This is a really bad analogy.

silkyjohnson50 02-04-2013 04:50 PM

Are we talking about Brendan Morrow or Dan Cleary? I'm so confused.

clefty 02-04-2013 05:14 PM

One of the more remarkable plummets I've seen in some time. Dollar for dollar the worst player in the NHL right now.

Vasilevskiy 02-04-2013 05:53 PM

I picked him in my fantasy pool

Not a good choice

Bathcat 02-04-2013 05:57 PM

I think I saw him out on a line with Benn and Jagr last game.

I chuckled.

One of the best games I've ever watched live. Each trip down the ice for both the Stars and Sharks was a treat because of the dueling goaltenders.

Yes he was the one to score by the way.

Elysian 02-04-2013 06:17 PM

It's funny that ScubaSteve keeps starting obvious Stars threads in the main board. He knows he'll be run out in the Stars board.

Though he's not wrong here, Morrow has devolved so much it's idiotic that they're playing him on the top line.

Rocket of Russia 02-04-2013 06:20 PM

Classic thread title. That's all I really have to add here.

magic school bus 02-04-2013 06:30 PM

I laughed

MeowLeafs 02-04-2013 06:33 PM

The guy hasn't had a shot on goal in 4 straight games, and only has 2 shots this season (9 games). He's currently playing on the top line.

I think that Morrow is one of those guys who is going to age in dog years. Guys that play the power game can fall off really quick.

And i think the Stars fans dislike him because the combination of fall off in his play after being made captain, combined with his selfish penalties.
