The Red Wings are in need of a little shake up to try to get something going early on in this season. They've got some young guys that could potentially come in and make a difference, but they need to make some space for them. One player that could be moved is forward Dan Cleary.
Dan Cleary, a former 1st round draft pick, is 34 years old and mysteriously plays a ton of minutes. He's a Stanley Cup champion and a three time 20 goal scorer (26 two seasons ago). If your team is seeking someone to take penalties every game and kill your momentum, Dan Cleary would be a great fit for you. Cleary's body is almost completely incapable of performing at an NHL level, but he is still willing to go to those dirty areas along the boards and turn the puck over. He's also shown this season that he can be used on the powerplay to struggle to hold onto the puck, or send the occasional sloppy pass to a teammate.
DAN CLEARY ON PACE FOR:
2013 7th Round Draft Pick if Cleary wins the Art Ross Trophy
The other team loses AINEC
No thanks, we already got Ryan Smyth.
A good used Easton S17 stick should get it done!! he is done done done, I had kids last year on a Bantam house team that could skate faster!!!
