So lets come right out and say it, do the Hawks go after Torres? I tend to say no seeing how clean the game against Vancouver was. Still would be nice if Torres just answered the bell and fought maybe Shaw.

I highly doubt Torres will be willing to fight anyone. If he did, it would be nice. I'd definitely like to see everyone finish their checks on him though.

Torres had 5 fights last year. He's not an enforcer, but he fights. Thats why I said Shaw and not Bollig.

No, nobody will go after Torres unless he does something reckless again. Besides, I don't see Torres fighting anyone on this team who would be willing to drop the gloves.

Right, if he did, Shaw makes sense. I think Shaw would get rag dolled by him, personally, so I don't see the point. But I would like to see our guys put a little extra into their hits, that's going to send the message better than anything else, make it hard for him. Show him that he doesn't have any more easy games left in his career against the Hawks.

Agreed, put another 6 on Smith.

If he can hold his own against Chipchura and TKO a guy like Brendan Smith, I think he can do fine against Torres.

Maybe, Torres has always been a pretty good fighter when he does drop them though.

Agreed 100%. However, there is that worry that Torres will do it again. I'd like to think he is going to play this season like Matt Cooke did when he came back though.

This is the best approach. Hit him hard when you have a chance and keep it clean. We're way too hot right now to worry about getting revenge. Best revenge will be them getting no points off us in a shortened season.

I'd be really really surprised if Torres took another cheap run at one of our guys. If he does, then you might see fans jump the glass to take a run at him. While I'm sure he does it again eventually, I think he plays clean against the Hawks for the next few match ups.

If Torres starts ****, then I hope someone lays him out.

If not, then getting 2 points is better than focusing on getting revenge. Let's not be Nucks fans here, folks.

I don't think Torres pulls anything again, not after the suspension that he was served up. I have a feeling he's a play or two away from a full season suspension.

I could see Saad getting another point tomorrow and going on a little run.

Play Torres,like you would anyone else. I doubt he'll do anything stupid considering Shanny and co. Will be watching. Once this team adds Rosi and Carbomb they'll be outta control. Can we start the playoffs now!

Winning is the best revenge that can be taken against Torres. Hossa's back at 100% and the team is rolling...no need to jeopardize any mojo.

Play the game to win the game. Period. Short season, you're on a roll as a team; too much at stake to lose focus as a result of getting revenge on a guy who just isn't worth the time, anyway. If you get a chance within the game to maim him cleanly (or slightly uncleanly :sarcasm:) go for it, or if you get a huge lead and someone wants to do something, then maybe you think about it, but really it's all about getting the two points and just beating the piss out of them as a team. Keep collecting the points.

Say the Hawks are up huge late in the game I'd be more worried about whiny ****s like Doan, who up until last year I thought was a pretty good player who played clean and didn't yap, but ever since his team tasted a bit of playoff success he has this sense of entitlement thing going.

Is Diana Ross/Barbara Streisand in net for Phoenix or is she still hurt?

Smith is playing again, even went back-to-back nights last week when she returned. It will be Phoenix's first game since Monday tomorrow, so I can't see any reason why Smith wouldn't be in net. Coyotes have picked up a point in their last 5 games, going 3-0-2.
