We're going to win this one.

Karl 02-09-2013 10:44 AM

Nice GDT. Ok boys, no need to panic but it would be nice to win a few games here.

Karl 02-09-2013 10:48 AM

Hmmmm an Underwood -Brodin pairing..... could be interesting.

Sportserie 02-09-2013 10:50 AM

THIS game is going to put us back on track and Suter will have a fantastic night!

Nice opening, it looks great. I love that Parise shot. I need some Parise icons badly.

Anyway, we will win this, I predict, 4-2.

Parise 1, Koivu, 1, Seto 1, Suter 1.

Dampland 02-09-2013 11:10 AM

Nashville 4-1 (empty netter)

Parise score for Wild (assist by Coyle)

Shea Weber either scores or gets 2 assists for Preds.

WIld will be outshot by at least 10 shots.

Will be another ugly game to watch.

Lapa 02-09-2013 11:13 AM

I expect two things tonight:

1. Wake the **** up, guys
2. A win

Sportserie 02-09-2013 11:25 AM

I don't care how ugly it is, we need 2 points. Don't care how it has to get done, just that it happens!

THEALLKNOWING* 02-09-2013 11:26 AM

Yeo vs Trotz. The former gets so little out of so much, the latter gets so much out of so little. The Preds always play the Wild well at Xcel. For the Wild to win, they need to get at least two goals early, real early. Possibly 3 goals. Have to count on Backstrom or Harding to give up 1-2 bad goals per game, which has been this year's modus operandi.

Henkka 02-09-2013 11:38 AM

It looks like both Shea Weber and Ryan Suter can't score without key element Patric Hörnqvist screening the goalie.

Gaps 02-09-2013 11:46 AM

So, there's team that's struggling to score combined with a leaky defense and a mediocre goalie. Then there's a team that plays defensively well and has a hot goalie, but the offense is rather unremarkable. The Preds could take this even if they were outshot. I'm not going to make any guesses because I'm always wrong (so I should probably say the Preds will win).

W75 02-09-2013 12:09 PM

Wild need to score goals!

11th game, 11th hour.
Rinne is a test. I scheduled earlier that skyisfalling after 12 games (1/4 of a season). So, not yet.. but it's close.

Go Wild Go, now or never.

tyratoku 02-09-2013 12:12 PM

Backstrom gets the start. Yeo wants to "give him a chance to respond"

W75 02-09-2013 12:15 PM

Ok, I'd give him a chance to rest. I don't know whats happening with the goalies..

edit: oops guess he played in the Van. game. only game I quit watching after the 1st cause I was pretty sure where it was headed.

Kaptain 02-09-2013 01:03 PM

Bring on 4-6-1!

Billy Mays Here 02-09-2013 01:07 PM

Nashville 3-0.

Wild48 02-09-2013 01:24 PM

PMB with Konopka and Rupp? Why?

Engebretson 02-09-2013 01:26 PM

If we win this game, I see us doing it in either OT or shootout. A comeback win is just what the team needs to pull themselves out of this funk.

Hasn't been happy with PMB's play in the lineup/on PP.

lol, what, really?

Granlund 64 02-09-2013 01:50 PM

Stats are off in the OP. Has BNTG with 4 goals - 4 assists and 7 points.

Should be 3G 4A - 7P

llamapalooza 02-09-2013 01:56 PM

Nashville is one of those teams that always embarrasses us, home or away. Right now we're pretty prone to those awful games where we push really hard and work our ***** off without scoring for half the game only to make one mistake watch the other guys pot a few quick cheapies and make it look embarrassingly easy. Trotz's system is built around those sorts of lapses that we're already playing into anyway.

I'm not super sad that I won't be able to watch this one.
