Should Dougie Legally Change His Name?

Hey guys, long time no talk.

So as we all know, there are two well known Dougie's in NHL history - Dougie Gilmour and of course the great Dougie Hamilton. Do we really want to put pressure on this kid to follow Gilmour's footsteps? I think it's unfair and we're in a business where we need to protect our young talent. What do you guys think of legally changing his name? He needs something completely different to get away from Gilmour's shadow, because it is clearly beginning to harm his on-ice play. What do you guys think of Terry? Greg? If you guys have any other ideas for names, feel free to post them here.

Maybe Bobby Wayne Gordie or Mario?

If Bobby was good enough for Orr.
If Gordie was good enough for Howe.

Dougie, the name given to him by his parents, is good enough for him.

What a stupid ****ing thread.
