Anyone else hate the behind-the-net camera angle on PP's?

I hate it. It is too close to the ice. You only see one half/side of the offensive zone.

I like to see the entire offensive zone. To see who is open, to anticipate where the pass might be going, to observe how the entire PK is spread out, etc.

Side angles, please.

Dr Grant 02-13-2013 09:38 PM

Absolutely loathe them

Robbler 02-13-2013 09:40 PM

It's the best angle.

JOHNBOY 02-13-2013 09:41 PM

I also hate them, seems like the other team always scores when it happens too.

Modo 02-13-2013 09:42 PM

Do not like.

coo1beans 02-13-2013 09:42 PM

Every time it goes to that angle, I am left wondering which genius came up with that idea. :sarcasm:

Fairweather 02-13-2013 09:43 PM

It's terrible.

Sportserie 02-13-2013 09:43 PM

Loathe. I get nervous, I don't know why. It just looks weird and I can't stand it.

patty59 02-13-2013 09:51 PM

I'm a hater of this too

Dont Poke Subban 02-13-2013 09:51 PM

I like it.

bluegreen 02-13-2013 09:53 PM

Hate it. Can't see how the play is developing at all.

TedenbysFrontTeeth 02-13-2013 09:53 PM

I like it. For me, every move is a little more exciting from that point of view. It's rare that they even use it.

SerenityRick 02-13-2013 09:54 PM

I ****ing love that angle to be honest.

Maybe it has something to do with being a goalie myself so I love seeing how fast and accurate the puck is being moved from the goalie's perspective (well.. almost his perspective)

Shellz 02-13-2013 09:56 PM

I enjoy it very much! I wish they would show it more.

pahlsson 02-13-2013 09:57 PM

****in awful, should only be used as a replay angle

Mustang2750 02-13-2013 09:57 PM

Its awful. Feels like Im watching the XFL.

Dangler99* 02-13-2013 09:58 PM

I like it. They should definently use it more.

Buck Aki Berg 02-13-2013 10:01 PM

Love it, though I agree something higher up would be better. Most broadcasts have a camera from behind the net, but much farther up (usually the first replay they go to for a goal). I'd love to see that angle used during live action on a PP.

SterioDesign 02-13-2013 10:08 PM

Love it too and my roomate whos usually only watching RDS was watching a game with me the other day on gamecenter and was all impressed by that angle

To me its awesome

Smokey McCanucks 02-13-2013 10:10 PM

I swear at the TV every single time they do that.

Agreed, as long as it is wide enough it is the best angle by far. You can see offense and D setting up, all the hitting and shots coming right at you into the glass. What's not to like?

Vip 02-13-2013 10:10 PM

Love it. Gives you a better idea of how fast the play is actually moving.

fly4apuckguy 02-13-2013 10:11 PM

I yell at the TV whenever they show that angle. Seriously. I know I am alone in my basement, but I still do it.

MillarWithASave 02-13-2013 10:12 PM

I love it, I hate when they move to a different camera when it happens. My favorite camera for hockey to be honest.
