Can our KINGS hand the BLACKHAWKS first Regulation Loss of Season ?

They play a hard style, and we just wanted to match that and build off that.” (On what led to his goal…) I think it was Nikitin – he was just following the puck. I just decided to jump on it and try and squirt it by him and beat him with speed.” (On preparing for the start of the season by playing in the ECHL…) Yeah, maybe I should start the year there every year. I think it was good for me.” (On the team getting an insurance goal early in the third period…) I think it was quite important. When we get the lead, we’re a strong team, so that’s got to be our focus all year."

I think I had two shots in the second…When you give up 13 shots, you better find a way to win.” (On staying in the game despite lack of shots…) Yeah, it was hard, but at least I got a little bit of time in our zone. Sometimes they weren’t shooting, but at least they were coming down and chipped the puck, and we were just winning those battles. That helps, because if they stay in their zone for 10 minutes, then they’re not coming in our zone. That got really hard, I guess.” (On the potential for “cold legs” with the lack of action in L.A.’s end…) You just try to stay focused. I think your body is going to stay sharp. I think it’s just mentally that you’ve got to make sure that you’re staying ready.” (His assessment of team, and where the Kings are at…) I think as a team, at first, we were not working as hard and the goals were not coming as we wanted to. I think we realized that if we worked hard, it just seems that we’ll get our bounce. If you look at that second goal, we got pretty lucky, but those are the type of goals that you want when you work hard. You want to find a way to finish that team.” (On the performance versus Columbus, compared to the performance versus St. Louis…) I thought we were right on them. We scored a big goal on that 5-on-3. That helps. Our PP got going. But I thought we played kind of a similar game. Our [third forward into the offensive zone] was really good, I thought, in our last three games, even against Detroit. We just found a way to win.” (On when he recorded his last assist…) I don’t know. Pee wee, maybe?"

They’re where they are for a good reason. It’s not hard to figure out.” (On how to contain the league-leading Blackhawks…) Well, they’re not invincible. I mean, somebody’s going to beat them. Somebody just did. So we’d like to try again. They’re not on a different planet than us."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Sorry Chicago, but the streak has to end sometime. That time is Sunday.

Vamos Rafa 02-16-2013 09:39 PM

We're on NBC again? Wow! You can say that it's because we're the defending champs. But it didn't work for the Ucks and the Canes.

MsWoof 02-16-2013 10:27 PM

I'm trying to figure out what to watch and what to record. Kings at 3:30, tennis at 6, Amazing Race at 8 and I have to work amongst all of that! I think this will be a really good game.

Edit: Ooops, all times eastern!

Lol Dewy

Different kind of goalie (Crawford). Sometimes he’ll play great against us, sometimes he won’t. I think we’ve just got to get a lot of shots on him and he’ll let a few by.

kingsholygrail 02-17-2013 04:31 AM

lol They were going over the "Hockey Day in America" deal for tomorrow's games. Did previews of all games except the Kings and Blackhawks.

tattooedsean 02-17-2013 04:51 AM

Lets end that run of regulation matches with out a loss for those Hawks!:yo:
