Coach Noel – What can he do to get his players going? Are the players over-thinking things? Facing a Sabres team that is going to bring it tonight. How can he lighten the mood? Does it help being outside of the microscope of home? Clitsome back in the lineup. Redmond coming out.

I thought you were being mean with 'DS', but then I figured it out?

So, why will we lose tonight? Bad goaltending? Sloppy D? Non existing O? Laughable coaching? Impressive goaltending by the other team? Aliens?

JetsFan815 02-19-2013 12:37 AM

Wonder how bad this is going to be... Vanek must be licking his lips.

Lynk 02-19-2013 12:41 AM

This gif represents the Jets. We are the man who's ready to eat his meal and just as we feel like everything is going to be ok and get ready to enjoy the deliciousness.....

BAM.

The Buffalo Sabres (or dog in this scenario) pull the chair out from underneath us and snack their way to victory.

Boreal 02-19-2013 12:49 AM

Great GDT. So much talent on this board.

I'm looking forward to this tilt. I wouldn't mind seeing Peluso get his fists wet in this game. I am intrigued to see what he has. Everyone raves about his ability to knuckle up. Hopefully Burmistrov can continue to build on his offensive production. We'll need that second line to produce if we want to win. Relying on our PP certainly is not likely to get us anywhere any time soon.

Gnova 02-19-2013 01:10 AM

Love the GDT!

Jets 5 Sabres -7

He is due for a slow down. Hopefully it starts tonight.

Gaald 02-19-2013 01:39 AM

Great BDT, well done!

I would really love Noel to break up that first line. Here's hoping for a shake up!

ps241 02-19-2013 03:40 AM

We are truely blessed by creative funny GDT's. Even marred in a team slump the smile comes to my face with the boys reading to the school children.

We face the Sabres right after Miller calls the team out......perfect. :sarcasm:

As I mentioned before either this road trip will make or break us and we really don't have much to lose anymore. My thoughts are this is lockout shortened 2013 not 2011-12 and since we no longer have home mojo perhaps it's time to discover our road mojo. Pavs needs to go .930 ish now for a stretch and our O needs to relax and let it happen. Tonight is tough to predict but we need to go above .500 over the next 10 games which seems unlikely at this point but one can always hope.

as a father of a very young child I can tell you Wheels, Ladd, Buff, Wellwood will all miss there babies but appreciate the piece that comes from time on the road. also the teams needs to get away from Winnipeg and hang out together. This is the turning poin we will be close to the half way point of the season when this extended road schedule ends and we have painted our way into a corner now......6-2-2 would put us back in the Hunt. 2-6-2 would put us squarely in the Hunt for a great draft pick

So it's down to this.........I will prey for mercy :help:

sounds like the strategy a lot of guys use the closer it gets to closing time

YWGinYYZ 02-19-2013 06:21 AM

Excellent job, darksociety! :handclap:

Looking forward to another hard working game - GAA has to change at some point, given the SA given up, and puck luck eventually has to change as well. Might as well be tonight, against another team that's struggling in a similar manner to the Jets.

Go :jets Go!

A couple breaks might decide it. But after tonight the road trip just gets tougher. Jets really need to find a way to win this one or the wheels might really start to come off.

True dat. I actually have a bit of faith for tonight - the PP can't continue to be as unlucky as it has been, and Pavs will eventually (I hope) break out of this GAA slump. If one or both of those happen, and they work as hard as they did against the Pens and Bruins, they should be competitive.

My optimism is difficult to kill. It might be riddled with bullet holes, but it's still fighting. :D

RonJon 02-19-2013 08:10 AM

I never want us to lose but I have to admit I'm already looking at that lottery pick. The only silver lining right now (for me and me alone) is that my next 2 live Jet games are in Sunrise and Tampa Florida :p:

SCP Guy 02-19-2013 08:17 AM

2 points are all that matters tonight....I don't care if the refs cheat....I don't care if we sneak another puck on the ice when no one is looking and use that to score....I don't care if we pay a rat to chew through the Sabres sticks on their bench.....Just win baby :yo:

Duir 02-19-2013 08:21 AM

Great job Darksociety! Love the Shackleton reference....that is quite the story. Just finished 'Endurance' recently. One of the better books I've read.

Anyhow, about the game.....would like to see Peluso step in for this one to measure up against Scott and McCormick. Maybe he can make amends and shake off some of that ring rust. Thinking Joki is going to snap out of his slump here for some reason.

DarthMonty 02-19-2013 08:31 AM

Great GDT DarkSociety!

Gah - When I watch the Jets live, they win. When I watch on TV, they lose. I guess I'm going to have to waste my TSNJets subscription and miss the game...

If Burmi, Kane can get some quality shots, and Ladd, Antro, Tangradi et al can get in Miller's grill and get him off his game, I think the Jets will take this one.

The Jets need to tighten up down the center, and clog up the lanes, otherwise Vanek will go nuts on them.
