Kelly Leak not starting is BS. Cue the moped.

robert terwilliger 02-27-2013 08:42 PM

no sidd finch either.

robert terwilliger 02-27-2013 08:43 PM

oh it's movie history only.

still, finch can throw 168 mph.

JaysCyYoung 02-27-2013 08:44 PM

No Kit "Hit or Die" Kesey either? For shame.

Pwnasaurus 02-27-2013 09:08 PM

And Bobby Rayburn was essentially Barry Bonds....but with a heart. He has to start.

Shoeless Joe 02-27-2013 09:26 PM

boo. Billy Chapel should be higher in the rotation.

Except he includes a Cheers character. Article completely contradicts itself.

I already have the rights to Sidd Finch. I just need to find him.

This thread needs some divine (and not so) intervention.

Because Wild Thing is a closer.

RJ8812* 03-01-2013 02:49 PM

I was pissed that Kenny Powers wasnt on it, then I saw that he was, but serving a 50 game suspension..haha

they should do a hockey one!

Mike Eruzione should be the captain! :sarcasm:

Modo 03-01-2013 06:53 PM

Bobby Rayburn but no Juan Primo?

Could also use some Stan Ross.

I think at the end of the season in the first movie and in the playoffs there he was the closer. Definitely in the playoffs.

Groot 03-02-2013 12:52 AM

Pretty sure Rowengartner was a reliever, could be wrong though.

In the 1 game playoff he came in to pitch out of the bullpen. SP coming out of the bullpen happen all the time (hello Lincecum). Vaughn was definitely a starter and for the entire season

Also im talking about the first movie, ive seen the 2nd one once or twice but have no idea if he was SP or RP

IU Hawks fan 03-02-2013 04:09 PM

Wild Thing was a starter. Remember how Lou pulls him into his office to tell him he's giving the old guy the start in the tiebreak, right before he ****s Dorn's wife.

ROTY has no continuity. Rowengartner bounces around for SP/RP constantly. Definitely starts the Dodgers game when he firsts bats, but he makes his debut out of the pen, comes out of the pen in the tiebreak, etc.

robert terwilliger 03-02-2013 05:27 PM

pretty sure vaughn was pushed to the bullpen at some point in major league 2. he definitely had his struggles.

"oh hey mr. vaughn. i thought you were pitching tonight."
"i did."
"sorry. didn't turn it on til the second inning."

edit: yeah he was definitely in the bullpen because him not leaving the dugout to walk out to the bullpen started the fight between he and willie mays hayes that brought the team together™.

Mr Fahrenheit 03-03-2013 02:55 PM

Well IMO the 2nd one doesnt count

robert terwilliger 03-03-2013 03:02 PM

the second one is ok.

it's the third one that doesn't count.
