Havlat Should not be Traded

Havlat is hella fast and he's one of the only guys on the roster who can say that, he's slumping currently but once he gets back on track he will do great. There is no reason to trade him as we currently need forward help anyway, I know that he is pass first and that theme is too common, but he is one of our only fast forwards and we need to keep him unless we're getting a fast goal scorer which we certainly won't for Havlat. Better to just keep him seeing as his value is at an all time low.

Cool =D

He has a full nmc, already limited value... He's untradeable anyway

Gene Parmesan 03-03-2013 12:30 AM

He won't be traded.

I don't remember Havlat having to approve the trade to San Jose. I'm pretty sure that like Heatley, he has windows to be dealt.

Agreed.

Leave Captain Dangles alone!

I don't know about the second part, but Havlat did waive his NMC for San Jose.

"It was surprising I was presented this deal. I decided to waive the no-move clause for the Sharks. It's a great team with great players, with a chance to win a lot of hockey games," said Havlat on Sunday.

I have not heard this kind of full-throated defense of Havlat since ....

O_o !!!

JodyShelleysNo1Fan 03-03-2013 04:13 AM

Since this team isnt exactly winning "a lot of hockey games", maybe he'll waive it again if its a trade to a team that is winning "a lot of hockey games".

Havlat isn't goin anywhere. At least I hope not. When he's on the ice, he's another speedy guy opposing Defenses have to account for.

good playoff guy
