SOLI'S SHORTSIDE

- Lineups are subject to change.

- Hall is out (Hamstring). Clutterbuck is out.

- The storyline of tonights game is going to be the aftermath of Hall's hit on Clutterbuck. We'll see what comes of it.

- There's alot to like about the Wild Lineup. They have quite the youth movement of special young players playing big roles for them in Brodin, Coyle, Zucker and Granlund. Don't get a fat head, the State of Hockey is aiming to make a statement.

I'm in no mood right now to make a fancy GDT..but I do want to talk about this game thats happening tonight.

As always, since I suck at predictions I will predict the same score until it happens..8-2 Oilers.

Let the games begin!

Matt Ryan 03-03-2013 10:14 AM

3-1 deja vu

Joey Moss 03-03-2013 10:20 AM

1-0 overtime, Minnesota plays the trap and Hall gets the winner.

Empros 03-03-2013 10:23 AM

BOS/MTL game is on at the same time, probably end up watching more of that...

pox 03-03-2013 10:28 AM

im already bored by this game

GreatKeith 03-03-2013 10:30 AM

Is it bad that I plan to watch flames and Canucks over this game?

OilDrop37 03-03-2013 10:32 AM

I'll flip back and forth between the Oilers/Minny and The Walking Dead...wonder if I'll be able to notice the difference.....

Spawn 03-03-2013 10:37 AM

I wonder how many fans of other teams over the past few years have dreaded watching the Oilers because of how boring our games are...

I donno if we have the right to call any other team boring considering what we've seen on the ice for the last few years.

Gord 03-03-2013 10:45 AM

I'll put 100vcash on the oilers but believe they will lose 4-1.
dubnyk gives up at least one soft goal and Krueger will stick to eberle and RNH both sucking the life out of the offense on the same line.

Hall2Nuge2Ebs 03-03-2013 10:49 AM

Minnesota wins 3-2 and injures a couple of Oilers. One of them is suspension worthy but Shanahan just gives the player a slap on the wrist

Johnny Bravo 03-03-2013 10:59 AM

Probably wont watch this one. Way rather watch walking dead.

This.

I laugh everytime i see the "high flying Oilers!!" We sit in the bottom 5 for goal scoring.

nabob 03-03-2013 11:08 AM

Do people here not own PVRs? It has been a must have to skip large portions of suckage that the team has been for 3 years.

If there is a dirty hit by minnesota, we call for their heads. Seriously though, after that last debacle about the Hall hit we deserve to be pissed.

Soli 03-03-2013 11:34 AM

Doesn't look like Hall is playing tonight.

EdmontonOilers
#Oilers on the ice at Xcel Energy Center for morning skate; Fistric (elbow), Hall (leg) not participating but Potter (head) is out there

Before we get a tweet on the lineups, I'd scramble things up and separate the 89/83 and 93/14.

The opposite of what I wanted to hear.

oilersfan87 03-03-2013 11:41 AM

We need a win tonight, no matter how boring this game is. 2-1 oilers in overtime.

dnicks17 03-03-2013 11:41 AM

Minnesota game without Hall?

Yeah, might be a good one to miss...

This is good. You don't want Hall coming back against the wild. He would have a target on his back for the whole game
