Thank u. Thought Tootoo was a better fighter. He is a brawler. Usually.

bud12 03-07-2013 08:21 PM

Tootoo is really good. Brownie falled to quickly

dookers9 03-07-2013 08:21 PM

Bang, bang, bang by Brownie. Not sure on the percentage that connected, but he came out on top there (as in 'victor', not position).

Two guys that go with the jackhammers.

That flurry of punches usually knocks down whatever middleweight Brown was fighting. Too bad he fell down so early because Tootoo was just gettnig set and those 2 provide exciting scraps for sure

Brown won.

definitely a let down seeing the two names in the thread title compared to the fight but these 2 will go again

Brownbeaut with the win

Tootoo is one of my favorite players in the league, I also liked Brown on the Canucks and still enjoy his game. Brown won that without question.

Guaranteed majority would have dropped from those rights. Tootoo is one tough cookie.

Could have been a great fight.

Brown throws a nice hit, throws down on Tootoo

And the rest of the Oilers continue to play without any heart after. Yeah, thanks Mike, we do this the lazy way in Edmonton.

Yea really not much of a fight. As a wings fan glad to see Tootoo wasn't banged up out of it, Brown was coming with some serious punches, too bad most hit tootoo's helmet/really didn't connect. Wish these two could've gotten to go a little longer and had some effective punches. Maybe we will see a rematch again at some point.

I would expect one, they play again March 15th.

I love that skating left hook Tootoo leads with lol.

Mr. Canucklehead 03-08-2013 01:12 PM

Brown threw the majority of the shots, but it seemed like the fight ended before it even began.

Win for Brown. Would like to see a Round 2.

Brown lands enuff in the opening salvo to take the win. a few missed but helmet shots don't tickle either.

IBLEAF 03-08-2013 01:29 PM

man i miss brownie already:cry:

The former Wolverine looked good.

smitty10 03-08-2013 01:35 PM

Weird seeing Brown in an Oilers jersey. Great scrap though. Brown was throwing hard.

timekeep 03-08-2013 04:50 PM

Brown started quick, usually that is Tootoos plan. Ended too quick, Tootoo was just getting started. Hopefully the next one will be a beaut.

Turris the Turret 03-09-2013 12:19 PM

Brown IMO, throwing bombs

Joey24 03-11-2013 01:37 PM

Brown burring the head and throwing as per norm. Also as per the norm he fails to be able to keep on his feet. I have always like Mike tho, gave it 100% night in and night out, he's just always seems to get him self hurt.

Good to see him keeping that level of play up, though one has to wonder how long he can keep going like this for before he's on the IR for one of the many different ailments he has had from the past.

i dont miss all the dumb penalties he took this year. but he can chuck them.

newfy 03-11-2013 02:48 PM

Hoping for a rematch. As many punches as Brown did throw, it was still only like a 7 second fight where Tootoo didnt really get a chance to get going before Brown fell. Tootoos one of the few middleweight fighters that can with stand Browns flurry of punches that he seems to do every fight. Tootoo can take a punch, I would like to see how Brown handles himself in a fight that isnt throw a bunch of fast punches than go down
