The Hawks appear to have one guy missing the game due to injury, and that would be Patrick Sharp.

Guessing the lines:

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Carcillo-Bolland-Kane
Bickell-Shaw-Stalberg
Mayers-Kruger-Frolik

Illinihockey 03-08-2013 09:23 AM

I'd rather the lines look like this

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Stalberg-Bolland-Kane
Shaw-Kruger-Bickell
Carcillo-Mayers-Bollig/Frolik

If Stalberg is going off the 3rd line he needs to play on the first line. That being said, anything is better than Carcillo in the top 6.

ChiGuySez 03-08-2013 10:26 AM

Stalberg doesnt play effectively on the left side. He likes to carry up the right boards and is much more dangerous there.

I think Q will start with what Cullksinikers has -

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Carcillo-Bolland-Kane
Bickell-Shaw-Stalberg
Mayers-Kruger-Frolik

TorMenT 03-08-2013 11:13 AM

Won't be getting around to making a GDT today. Someone else's turn!

ChiGuySez 03-08-2013 11:27 AM

Hopefully someone will put one up before 10pm f/o.

edit: 8pm f/o.

No Fun Shogun 03-08-2013 11:33 AM

Sadly, going to miss the next two games as I'll be in North Carolina this weekend.

Hope I miss two wins!

Illinihockey 03-08-2013 02:02 PM

Bickell is moving in to Sharp's spot on the 2nd line

Hawkaholic 03-08-2013 02:08 PM

Saad Toews Hossa (same old)
Bickell - Bolland - Kane (I like this line, Bickell has some chemistry with Bolly)
Carcillo - Shaw - Stalberg (nastiness and speed)
Bollig - Kruger - Frolik (same old)

TorMenT 03-08-2013 02:08 PM

If Shaw is in, I don't like moving Bickell up to the 2nd line. Gotta keep those 2 together if you ask me.

w00d 03-08-2013 02:41 PM

I just noticed that the Hawks' 18 ROW is more than any other team's total wins (PIT & ANA have 16), or combined losses (FLA has 17). That's straight gangsta.

Cullksinikers 03-08-2013 02:44 PM

I'm guessing Crawford is in the blue paint tonight.

Unaffiliated 03-08-2013 02:58 PM

Hey guys.

Things:
- We just got Erik Johnson back
- Our dumbass coach just scratched Tyson Barrie

Good luck tonight, hopefully it's a good game.

RayP 03-08-2013 03:04 PM

Current Hawks win streak as we all know is 11 games.

10 teams don't even have 11 wins, and 7 teams have exactly 11 wins.

Chris Hansen 03-08-2013 03:10 PM

Moving Bickell up was not the best option possible. The third line was playing awesome.

I didn't feel like cluttering your board with a new topic so I suppose I'll just stick it in here.

Huge amount of respect from this Canucks fan. What the Blackhawks are doing right now, only against the Western Conference no less, is pretty damn incredible.

I hope you guys are enjoying and appreciating the ridiculous spectacle this really is. Could be the best streak in all of sports once all said and done. (not a jinx attempt...promise )

Anyways, good luck tonight.

Qubax 03-08-2013 03:54 PM

Shaw is listed as Day to Day, is he confirmed to play tonight?

We surpassed 20 wins before 1/3 west even got 1/2 that many.

Unreal.

that was the lineup at morning skate according to CSN.

http://www.csnchicago.com/blog/trace...d-start-vs-avs

BB moved up to second line and DC takes his spot on the third.

"Meanwhile, with Sharp sidelined, the Blackhawks switched up their lines a bit this morning. Bryan Bickell, who has been part of the team’s stellar third line, moved up to the second with Dave Bolland and Patrick Kane. Bickell finished Wednesday’s game with the second line after Sharp left. Daniel Carcillo, who had the game-winning goal on Wednesday, will be on the third line with Andrew Shaw and Viktor Stalberg. The first and fourth lines remain the same."

I'd like to know why we aren't bringing up Smith or Morin or even Pirri for a look?!
And I still would love to see Beach get in a game or two.
