What about Giroux?
I believe he's eligible to negotiate a contract extension this summer. Do you think he will wait and see before making a long term commitment? I know he's an RFA but am not sure when he will be a UFA so figuring all that in, do you think he will maybe sign an extension till he's a UFA before deciding whether to stick around or move to another team?

I am more worried about that Nashville offer sheet than Giroux leaving this team :sarcasm:

I think they start negotiating this summer and get a deal done somewhere early in the season.

hahah oh, we're screwed because NSH will be signing him to an offer sheet!

seriously though, I expect him to be extended this summer. God knows we'll have a long summer to get it done

He'll look good in Nashville, good for them.

Poor us, I liked Giroux. Good luck in Nashville.

MRxBLACK 03-14-2013 12:08 PM

I'll take 4 first round picks from that franchise.

The owners should draft a new CBA that protects teams like the Flyers from being bullied by teams like NSH. I can't believe we're gonna lose Giroux...
The NHL is an old boys club, and I doubt any other team is going to ever do business with NSH again after they pull this crap. :sarcasm:

I think we should also be worried about the Canucks trying to get us back for that Kesler OS too and taking Giroux from us. :sarcasm:
