Your team's MVP thru the midway point

On the contrary to the "biggest disappointment" thread...

Who on your team thus far has been the biggest driver for any success? Or, in the case of weaker teams like the one I root for, who has been the most valuable player/top performer through the first half of the season?

Certainly in Buffalo, it's Cody Hodgson. I don't need to say much more... Bright spot on a dark, dark team.

Yours?

Paul MacLean - Have no other explanation on why we hang on. (Really it's Craig Anderson)

Backpack 03-15-2013 12:02 AM

Ryan Getzlaf

Cory Trevor 03-15-2013 12:03 AM

Puh-trees Burger-On

No one else except maybe the Fin standing between the pipes

Art of Sedinery 03-15-2013 12:03 AM

Can't pick one in Vancouver. Maybe Luongo. :sarcasm:

Nose Face Killah 03-15-2013 12:03 AM

Boston: Marchand.

SephF 03-15-2013 12:03 AM

Taylor Hall

HM to Gagner

bigplay41 03-15-2013 12:04 AM

Andrew Ladd most underrated player in the NHL

illpucks 03-15-2013 12:04 AM

Getzlaf is team MVP and soon to be league MVP

danishh 03-15-2013 12:04 AM

hard to choose. Andy still i guess if we had to choose one. MacLean is probably the real answer.

Boreal 03-15-2013 12:04 AM

Ladd and Pavelec.

Habitat 03-15-2013 12:04 AM

Love that he is having as much success as he is.

In addition to being a solid player on the ice, how has he been in the leadership department? Good captain?

DuckJet 03-15-2013 12:06 AM

Getzlaf

HM: Beauchemin, Cogliano

Mickey Mouse 03-15-2013 12:07 AM

I'm going to resist the strong urge to say Kunitz should be every teams MVP and go with Kovy by default.

BLASPHEMOUS 03-15-2013 12:07 AM

This is a hard one. Montreal has had contributions from everyone in the line-up, which is why they have been successful thus far. From the perspective of consistency, Subban is probably my pick.

Melnyks Mirage 03-15-2013 12:08 AM

Paul MacLean, Goaltending, Mika Zibanejad.

Sam Gagner for the Oilers. Hall has been good also but I wasn't expecting this kind of season from Sam. He's had a point in every game this season aside from 6 games. For someone who's biggest problem has been consistency that is fantastic to see from him.

NjDevsRR 03-15-2013 12:12 AM

Elias

Kovy
Brodeur, need him back!
