4 years, $3.5 average for Desharnais.

Something like this.

greenstickytoes 03-15-2013 02:19 AM

9 million for 3 years

Is this beginning of the end for Pleks in Montreal? Gals will eventually be future #1, Eller looks strong #2, Plekanec too good for 4th line duties.

Maybe Pleks gets dealt this summer

Doubt it. Pleks is a leader and he's not anywhere close to declining. Habs looking for depth down the Middle. Eller hasn't cemented his reputation yet.

No Plekanec is here to stay. Either Eller or Galchenyuk will play on the wing.

My $$$ on Galchenyuk, he'll get the Seguin treatment.

vital 03-15-2013 02:54 AM

3.7m for 5 years.

greenstickytoes 03-15-2013 03:00 AM

nahh Montreal has been waiting over 10 years for a big center like Chucky.
they wont make him play winger more than this year or the next.
If DD gets signed and Eller keeps playing the way he is, Pleky
is getting dealt.
They didn't draft a big natural center like Chucky for him to play at
wing with all the talent he has.
only reason why seguin is playing wing is because he has amazing
chemistry with Bergy. Bergy is a faceoff specialist with a sick 2 way game and vision.
Pleky is good but not as good as Bergy is as a centermen.
Unless they put Eller at wing but i doubt it since he proved this year
and last year that he's most dominant as a centermen.
and same for Pleky so, because of his age. I say hes getting traded.

Beendair Donedat 03-15-2013 03:05 AM

2.8 million per, for 2 years.

Oiltankjob Fail 03-15-2013 03:17 AM

3 years 8.25 million

danishh 03-15-2013 03:24 AM

4 yrs 12M sounds about right for me.

c4rcy 03-15-2013 03:33 AM

Seems pretty cheap for a 60 point center to be under 4M. I'd say 4/4.25M

He's useless defensively and without Pacioretty.

Not a fan of the resigning until we see figures.

PAZ 03-15-2013 04:47 AM

3.75 x 4.

Xamboni 03-15-2013 05:36 AM

I think it might be a shorter deal than expected. :sarcasm:

A. He's not useless defensively. But he obviously will get overpower against the top lines of the nhl.

B. You dont need 4 centermen to be able to play against the opposition top line.

He's quite capable of 2nd line duties in the nhl with or without Pac.

tc23 03-15-2013 06:10 AM

3.5m per year for 3 years

ClasslessGuy 03-15-2013 06:12 AM

under 3m. Subban got 2.75 from bergevin I know it was a bridge but I can't see MB giving him a 3+ contract

silver cup 03-15-2013 06:26 AM

2.5 x 3 yrs

WhiskeySeven* 03-15-2013 06:43 AM

He's not getting less than 3 I don't think, he's a 60-pt NHL "centre" afterall.

HabsSlappy 03-15-2013 07:05 AM

I would be ecstatic with anything under 3.25M a year and content with anything under 4M.
