That's not how I would lay out my team...but yes, Ottawa clearly has the best team. =3

I really don't think you have the best team but if you want the 30th overall then sure.:sarcasm Your at best gona be a middle team.

Joey Moss 03-16-2013 01:50 AM

The 30th pick in the JML Entry Draft belongs to....... The St.Louis Blues!

Thanks to those who voted me for having the best team in the league.

Philadelphia, Edmonton, Minnesota, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Anaheim also received votes. STL edged out the next highest team by 1 vote.

You can start to vote for the 2nd best team now.

TBLbrian 03-16-2013 02:28 AM

the Flyers don't have Jussi Jokinen on their roster.

VanIslander 03-16-2013 02:29 AM

Meh.

Cujomi 03-16-2013 07:46 AM

 Ummm...interesting.

I agree that St Louis is a top 5 team but the best team. NO way in hell. But fine you can have the 30th overall. The goalies are just too week. Dubnyk can have a great night and the next game can be horrible. He's soo inconsistent that for that reason alone you shouldn't be able to rank as the best team. But oh well, that's just my opinion.

I wouldn't say it's  worthy but.. I think I have the best top 6 and I snagged OEL, one of the best defenseman right now in the 3rd round. For that reason alone I believe I was definitely a top 5 team.

Meh.. Dubnyk used to be like that but I wouldn't say anymore. He's not awesome one night and terrible the other.. Dubnyk's problem is letting in a weak goal far too often but he usually bounces back from it. Out of all regular goalies in the league he's 9th in SV% and he's 4th in shots against.. I would say Dubnyk is a middle of the pack goalie.

Goaltending gets you few categories.. I think it's more important to have good forwards and defenseman anyways.

It's fun you understand where I was coming from but in no way your team suck. Your definitely your top 5 and I would say we all have our opinion on who's the best at the moment. St Louis should be very good at Hits, shots,Block shot,PPP,G,PIM'A,+/- but I think you might have a difficulty of wining the win, save %. So in a way your in a very good spot to be in but being voted first it's a matter of opinion but like I said over and over your top 5 for sure.

Congrats bro for getting voted number one and getting the 30th overall.

By the way in no way my goal was to bring you down.

Joey Moss 03-17-2013 01:33 AM

The 29th overall pick in the JML Entry Draft belongs to...... The Edmonton Oilers!!

NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Calgary, Columbus, San Jose and Toronto also got voted.. Edmonton had 7 votes, next best had 2..

You can start voting for 28th..

VanIslander 03-17-2013 02:21 AM

:amazed:

The so-called best team has in its starting line-up: O'Reilly, Johansen, Bouchard, Coyle, Eager, Petry, Fistric, Allen

The so-called next best team has: Umberger, Zajac, Peverley, Bickell, Brodziak, Lewis, King, Fraser, Ian Cole...

This is a FANTASY league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instanc...x/27902908.jpg

Neither team will finish top-5 in the standings. Mark my words.

Chandrashekhar Limit 03-17-2013 02:27 AM

This is a fantasy league where hits, toi, pim, blocked shots have the same value as points, so a lot of the players you have listed are valuable.

Just loading up on PPG players isn't winning anyone anything. The two most balanced teams have gone 1 and 2.

Hits, penalties and blocked shots,.... guess they have some value. Granted.

CBJ All The Way 03-17-2013 08:44 AM

Cujomi 03-17-2013 10:15 AM

That's ok...I'll take the early draft pick to add to what is already one of the best teams in the league.

Fine by me as long as you shut up

Joey Moss 03-17-2013 04:04 PM

Guys, stop complaining about the rankings.. All of the teams are so even that there is going to be some teams that are maybe surprising.. I think the people complaining so far had too big of expectations for their teams.

I don't think Ottawa will be getting voted until ~20, personally.

This is statement is 100% correct. No one here expect their team to be considerfe the worst team and all expect their team to be considere the best. SO how can that work out well for everyone, it just can't. It's like their at least 40 players that deserve to be in the first round of the 2013 entry draft. But guess what, their's only 30 spot in the first round. So some will fall out side of the top 30 and some will surprise. By the way I agree that Ottawa is a middle of the pack team. So he just need to except that and see how well he does next year. He could always surprise everyone and win it all. But I doubt that will happen but any that may seem impossible is actually possible. :sarcasm::naughty: :D

Joey Moss 03-17-2013 11:20 PM

The 28th pick in the JML Entry Draft belongs to..... The Calgary Flames!!!

PHI, NYR, TOR, OTT, MIN, LAK also got votes..

Start voting again.

Another GM-less team, the third team in a row drafted by Joey Moss. Way to go! Keep tallying those votes JM!

This is the "right" stuff:

Calgary Flames

Daniel Sedin - Ryan Kesler - Loui Eriksson
Brandon Dubinsky - Cody Hodgson - Michael Grabner
Jason Chimera - Derek Stepan - Jordin Tootoo
Nick Spaling - Brian Boyle - Erik Condra

Andrej Meszaros - Roman Polak
Karl Alzner - Jonathan Ericsson
Douglas Murray - Adam McQuaid

Miikka Kiprusoff
Jonathan Bernier
