Vancouver Millionaires vs. Detroit Winged Wheelers - We Still Suck

Nuckles 03-16-2013 11:30 PM

Literally the best powerplay in the NHL.

BoHorvatFan 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

Edler is a horrible PP QB. Great shooter but everything dies when he gets the puck.

EpochLink 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

5 on 3 and can't score.

If this was another team, Newell Brown would be fired by now

aandbreatheme 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

Hamhuis shoots wide 3 ****ing times.

monster_bertuzzi 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

Our powerplay sucks because the formation ****ing sucks. Thats directly on coaching. All left hands is ****ing really easy to read, even for a 5 on 3.

jigsaw99 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

yup Hamhuis is so Much better than Garrison as a trigger man for the PP. Fire FIre Fire.

Bourne Endeavor 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

Oh, I hate these announcers: arguing about Burrows being better than Kassian to screen. He is but maybe that's because our idiot coaching staff has not bothered to teach Kassian how to do it properly.

Awesome powerplay, btw. Really stellar.

thepuckmonster 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

No Tanev or Garrison.

A RHD to feed a LHD.

No that makes sense.

canucksfan 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

Erhoff would be nice on the point

JannikAtTheDisco 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

I'm starting to hate this team, I will literally jump for joy when the whole coaching staff is let go, just please let it be in time to salvage this season..

King of Anarchy 03-16-2013 11:31 PM

This PP is a damn disgrace.

timw33 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

Wow. Unreal how bad that 5 on 3 was. All lefties, only going for the Edler/Hamhuis one timer into the shinpads.

Real Gudbranson 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

Good job, newell!

Unfortunately there aren't any easy solutions that one player is going to fix.

0 for 33. I don't have the words...

why they don't put garrison out there is beyond me. why set up hamhuis? like what the ****??

Cromulence 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

Soft blue line wrist shots into shin pads on a 5 on 3. Genius.

Chris McKinlay 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

I'm sorry, did you just call Newell Brown a liar?

Garrison even play that on PP?

Hamhuis and setup is more of a problem. I don't really see the huge deal that people are making over Edler.

On that 5-on-3, the only passing option from the point was Henrik. The other two guys were both clumped by the net. How do they expect to open up shooting lanes?

just22 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

Seriously? You're playing Hamhuis on the 5 on 3?

And why are they shooting from the blueline? Move in closer, FFS, you have so much space.

SeawaterOnIce 03-16-2013 11:32 PM

This team is ****ing trash. How is there absolutely no urgency on the 5 on 3?!?!? No movement whatsoever (static), short passes, and the point shots veering far wide. This utterly frustrating to watch.

Proto 03-16-2013 11:33 PM

AV should be fired for not using Garrison on the 5 on 3 (or the first unit 5 on 4, for that matter). His stubborn refusal/inability to adapt is hurting this team. It's galling.
