OT: Who is Renewing their Season Tickets?

Question for STH's, If the Flames miss the playoffs, will you be giving up your season tickets or keeping them? I tend to think the Flames will be looking at thousands of empty seats in the near future if things do not pick up. Again, this is assuming they do miss the playoffs.

I doubt there are any empty seats, combination of corporate owned seats and the fact that this team is still capable of winning people won't want to miss it.

There will be no empty seats. This is Calgary its not a desert.

I used to share 4 seats with 5 other guys, so we each had 1/3rd of a set of 2 tickets.

In the early 2000's, as they dropped out, i picked up their shares, such that I know have all of the shares, and have had them since 2004, when I was able to have them for the Cup run that year.

I have no intention of ever giving them up, as they are valuable for business and family purposes.

In for the good, in for the bad.

I think it might be easier to get seats next season, but I don't think we'll see attendance back to mid/late 90's levels.

And wow, OP didn't last long.

My family and I share three pairs of seasons tickets with other families, getting roughly a third of each. We aren't giving ours up any time soon, no matter what.

Don't have season tickets, but I'd buy them if I had the money. Still won't stop me from going to games. Win or lose, the Flames will always be my team.

i would gladly swoop up the tix if some become available. There wouldn't be any shortage of sales

Well, if anyone wants to get themselves banned within 15 posts, make sure 8 of them are new pointless threads :D

I cannot affod season tickets, so not an issue for me lol, I haven't been to a live Flames game in four seasons. I do have Hitmen season tickets though, which are absolutely excellent value.

One of my friends with Flames season tickets is considering not renewing them. It's not just a performance issue, he's just not set on going to every game anymore type of thing.

And my Uncle has already said if we miss the playoffs again this season, he'd only renew them if ownership commits to a rebuild, even if it's a slower process, he doesn't want them to purposely tank, but start trading some vets for more picks and such, kind of similar to what Ottawa just did a season or two ago, they did a mini overhaul and are actually better for it right away lol
