Girdle's for skate training...

Does anyone here where a girdle for just skate training? Whenever I work on something new(outside edges, crossovers, etc) I tend to crash a lot. I generally figure if I am not on the edge of disaster, I am not pushing myself far enough. However, as it turns out, crashing hurts. I was wondering about getting a girdle that would pretty well conceal under sweats so I am not the only goober out there during pubskate wearing hockey pants. Would a girdle hide under sweats without looking ridiculous? Has anyone else done this or is there an easier solution? Some days I can barely sleep on either hip!

Yeah, that is pretty much it. If those come even close to working the way I want... that is about $40 cheaper than a girdle. Thanks much.

I used a mission csx girdle (still have it for roller hockey), and didn't bother what people think. I also used knee and elbow pads. If you're not concerned with falling you'll try more, so I say go for it.

Impact Shorts

I've got a pair of impact shorts I wear when rollerblading, snowboarding, playing shinny, or open-skating. They have saved my back/hips a ton of wear. I also generally wear my shin-pads so that if I have to take a knee, it isn't debilitating.
