Curious to see if they find a way to loose this. Old pattern is they will. Is this a new team, that locks this down. Subplot is Leopold, benched for Sekera? ? He should be

Seems a bit odd but in the big picture not really a big deal.

I'm loving Pysyk so far. Why wasn't he up with the Sabres all year? He's clearly ready.

brian_griffin 03-26-2013 11:10 AM

Lightning really have the injury plague.

Because at the beginning of the year we supposedly had a good defense.

And he had never played higher than juniors.

His time in Rachacha helped him to adjust I think.

Because he wasn't ready for the NHL all season? He's arguably still not now. He's made some good plays, but he's also made some bad ones, and he still clearly needs to bulk up a bit. I have as high hopes for the kid as anyone -- his defensive IQ and skating ability are obvious -- but he is still a young player, developing, learning the pro game.

stokes84 03-26-2013 11:18 AM

Stafford, Sekera and Scott scratched.

SabresBillsBuffalo 03-26-2013 11:20 AM

Wow I never noticed all their injuries. Tyler johnson is playing like a beast for them though, but that being said I think the Sabres should win this game. Will they? probably not :(

Tim Murray 03-26-2013 11:21 AM

I'd rather see Pysyk in rochester right now. No need to rush him.

Wow. Sekera a healthy scratch. Think if we had said that earlier in the season with Myers and Leopold in the lineup.

Doesn't want to mess with a winning lineup I guess

I'm pretty sure he is injured. Rolston said last night that Sekera MAY be ready to come back today.

Rolston said there’s a chance that defenseman Andrej Sekera, who has missed the last four games with an upper body injury, could play tonight.

Rolston said on radio this morning that Sekera was healthy and they had a decision to make.

When asked about Sekera playing tonight:

"He's a potential. We are right now in a situation where we have 7 healthy D"
