GAME DAY THREAD MUSIC
"Anxiety (Get Nervous)" by Pat Benatar

FLYERSFAN18 03-27-2013 08:51 AM

They might as well send Couts down to the Phantoms to get first line minutes if he is going to continue to rot on the fourth line with Feds and Rinaldo. It is getting beyond rediculous. As soon as we finally had a healthy roster and acquired Gagne he had a bad game or two (along with the rest of the team) and he is demoted to the fourth line

His last 10 games were all bad ones. Many turnovers, lazy on the backcheck, zero offense.
This applies to most players on the roster though.

Can they even send him down? He's still 19, right? Forgive my ignorance, but I know nothing about the minors/juniors rules.

I have a hard time telling with Coots whether his slow skating makes him look lazy at times, or if he actually is taking plays off here and there. I mean, I know he's not a very aggressive style player to begin with.

I know I'm not following the rhyming scheme, but:
• TLC (the losing continues) for Nurse.
• Palliative care for Nurse.
• Be patient for Nurse.

I'm expecting the Flyers to crush my hopes and dreams, which at this point in the season means they will dominate the isles and win the game, giving me yet another false hope and ruining their draft position :(.

That may be, but it sums up how shocking this team has sucked.

I don't mind the suckness. Maybe this season is divine retribution for the injury if Pronger.

Go Isles! (I'm dead serious)

I'm rooting for the Isles for the remainder of the season, I'd love to see them get into the postseason. They're a young, hardworking team that competes every night. It'd be good to see some new blood in the playoffs.

They're perennially **** on by so called experts and albeit forgotten or at least ignored by the major NHL media.

It's gonna' be tough but I'm hoping they leap-frog either NJ or the Rags.
