We drafted Taylor Ellington with our 2nd, actually. That said, PK was ranked a lot lower than that all year and the Canadiens reached for him. Every team passed on him once in what was a fairly weak draft.

yep But White and Ellighton vs Subban and perrson........two bust for two good players

thepuckmonster 03-27-2013 08:02 PM

I think Montreal might have been the only team to get more than one decent player out of the 2007 draft with Patches and Subban.

They also got Yannik Weber, who is on IR right now.

Don't forget McDonagh. They could have had 4 NHLers out of it.

Price pulling a Luongo

Now 4-2. Eerily reminiscent of the finals.

they have been motivated by Iginla to Boston..........

Subban's shot is just electric, though. There are guys who have really great hard shots like Edler has, but not many on defense -- or even at forward, really -- who have a one-timer like Subban. His velocity and ability to raise the puck and keep it on target is extraordinary. Really dynamic player.

Perhaps. Apparently their second line has been carrying the load throughout the season.

Lucic and Horton have less points than Hansen so that should give you an idea. Plus their 2nd line has had some epic luck (Marchand shooting at 20+ %?).

canuck4life16 03-27-2013 09:02 PM

1-0 wild........if Phx lose high chance of getting Doan if wishes to leave and some other player from them

Bartkowski, Khoklachev and 1st for Iginla according to Bobby Mac

Similar to a Jensen, Connauton, and 1st? Difference is that we're lacking the depth Boston has; and it would obviously take more to pry him from a division rival....Oh, and not to mention the fact that he would likely not be overly fond of signing with a division rival.

I cheered pretty loud for not being a Habs fan.

canuck4life16 03-27-2013 09:17 PM

how did Vancouver miss GALLAGHER ...............our fail scouts

thepuckmonster 03-27-2013 09:17 PM

Who the **** is Torey Krug on Boston??

Proto 03-27-2013 09:19 PM

I'm confused. When it became 4-2 Boston, why didn't Montreal stop playing and then get ventilated? Weird... :sarcasm:

Their coach decided to pull the goalie too.

Since when was this a sensible thing to do? How dare you suggest such a thing!
