I don't think Talbot was going to be (or should have been) the subject of any trades.

Yes, I wanna see Simmonds, Talbot, Rinaldo, Grossman and a few others stick around next year...

I don't want to see him moved, but if we got a good offer, I'd be all for it

GingerFetish 03-31-2013 07:52 PM

Flyers trying to make the playoffs again?

Better send injuries.

Curufinwe 03-31-2013 08:27 PM

From watching it in slow motion it seems like there was no cut, but it could be a fairly bad knee injury.

AaronTrieu 03-31-2013 08:27 PM

Loss of Mac is huge. Him and Feds are great on the pk. Without them they are bottom
10 instead of top 10 for sure.

Oh well, hope he's alright, but Talbot has been so meh this year this injury doesn't hurt or help.

Tim P: "must be a leg/knee"

Such a gift for Tim P to take time away from his FBI forensics gig to write about hockey

I guess that's some good news. Whatever it is, I hope it isn't too serious...

It was knee on knee. Either an MCL or the more serious ACL. He'll be gone for a few weekst at best, the rest of the year if he needs surgery.

Enter Tye McGinn, stage left

Very good news that it isn't achilles related, those can be not just season ending but career ending.

Ryker 04-01-2013 01:36 AM

To me it looked like he twisted his ankle or something.

more injuries please!

ugh

Giroux It 04-01-2013 08:44 AM

Broken leg is so sad. Especially when Max was seemingly playing his best hockey so far, guess some of our depth will really be tested now.
