The Ducks finally visit Dallas. I`m excited...

...said no one ever.

Story

The Ducks are all time 41-68-5 against Stars, and 15-40-2 in their home. They are like Kryptonite to us.
The Ducks finish their 4 game roadtrip tonight, and so far have earned 3 points in 3 games (see pic below).

And we really suck this season in series against teams. (3 games in a row against Phoenix, 2 games in a row against Detroit, SJ) We got 4 points in 3 game series from Phoenix but lost them 2 times (and now i`ll hear how that was in OT/shootout and we would gonna so destroy them in playoffs, eh... doesn`t sound too convicing).
We really didn`t had an answer to recent Detroit or SJ series either, lost all 4 games combined.

So, the Ducks are 1-4-2 in these 3 ''season series'' combined. Now we have another 3 game series in front of us, and we`ll be playing Dallas.

I`m really in a hurry, can`t post much more, but that`s a thing to discuss.

Lehtonen to get lit up and pulled within 2 periods*

*if this doesn't happen, I accept all responsibility for the impending loss

It would be nice if Dallas would just decide to tank, start a minor league goalie, and trade all their good players away. This afternoon. Hopefully Perry can shake off the rust and get back to his pre-suspension form. He's just missing on 2-3 glorious opportunities a game he'd usually bury.

Go Ducks!

I miss our offense. I miss our double-digit division lead, too.

The offense has gone bone(r) dry.

Great start to this thread.

I hate Kari. He always owns us

DucksFanDFW 04-01-2013 01:50 PM

I believe Lehtonen played yesterday vs the Kings... is there maybe a chance we see Bachman tonight? I'll be there in 327 hoping for a regulation win this time. GO DUCKS!

HanSolo 04-01-2013 01:52 PM

I think we'll see Bachman at least once during this stretch. But he's no slouch.

Stars thread says Lehtonen starts. Hopefully he's tired after that beat down yesterday from the Kings.

That was a very physical game.. I had it on at Buffalo Wild Wings right next to the Ducks game while everyone else watched college basketball.

Go Ducks!

Should be a bit easier with Morrow gone now. Hopefully Perry can ignore Robidas and not take any stupid penalties.

I hate my home state so much :(

CrazyDuck4u 04-01-2013 02:55 PM

Ducks cant play against good trapping defensive teams.. Kings, Pheonix, Dallas, San Jose.. All come into mind.. I will say this.. Detroit figured out how to exploit the ducks system.. Other teams will do the same.. It also doesn't help when your goalie is giving up at least one soft goal against. We need to score first from now on..

Fasth should start tonight

tANNERRRR54 04-01-2013 03:04 PM

What do you think about the Andrus extension? I think it's fair for both sides

I'm good with Andrus, I actually like Josh when he decides to play. I just don't appreciate him or Wilson running their mouths, especially Josh about an organization that took good care of them. The Rangers are in big trouble after losing Napoli, Hamilton and Young. We'll be looking up at Anaheim all season I'm sure.

Idk man, our pitching sucks. I think Oakland can really win that division again. They seem to be the most complete club. They added Jed Lowrie and Chris Young. I'm really concerned about the Angels pitching, and I could really see us missing the playoffs again. The good thing for the Rangers is that they have an excellent farm system. Olt and Profar are going to be very good in about a year.

Last comment about this then back to hockey lol... Olt never has a chance as long as Wash is manager. There is something that Wash doesn't like about the kid.

Angels suck bottom line

jbean 04-01-2013 04:13 PM

Crazy baseball season. Lots of potential contenders, some of them will end up as pretenders. Back to hockey. I have a feeling Fasth is starting tonight, simply because I get the sense the Ducks aren't going to push Hiller too hard before the playoffs based upon his past health issues. Can anyone confirm that Fasth is starting?

They could have the most effective murderer's row in the league though. That is if Hamilton plays with consistency which is a big what if, and Trout might come back to earth a little, and who knows if Pujols will be very good or if he can be an absolute beast again.
