Chevy willing to listen to offers on Hainsey, Burmistrov now being shoppped #105

Told Ron Hainsey not being shopped but #nhljets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is willing to listen to offers. Alex Burmistrov keeps popping up #bn
Lawless is probably the most reliable Jets insider.

I'm guessing the price is a 1st for Hainsey. I doubt he gets that, so I don't think he will be traded. No idea if Burmi is on the block or what the price would be. He's been in the doghouse lately, and even a healthy scratch for a number of games. No chemistry with the coach.

BigTuna49 04-01-2013 03:16 PM

I mentioned it on the Jets board but I'll bring it up here too. When it comes to Burmi teams might be looking at a situation where they can buy low on a kid that could be a 2nd line player soon.

I want him on the Ducks. What do the Jets want?

Soundgarden 04-01-2013 03:18 PM

I'd love Nashville to grab Burmistrov, I know he's another defensive forward, but he could replace Legwand/Fisher in the upcoming years.

Man Bear Pig 04-01-2013 03:19 PM

Would gladly take a risk on Burmistrov

tycobb 04-01-2013 03:21 PM

What are the Jets looking to add?

TOML 04-01-2013 03:21 PM

Are the Jets even sellers? Doubt that.

Regardless, nobody should pay a 1st for Hainsey. Although he is having a fairly decent contract season.

A team should take a flyer on Burmi if he's available. He's just 20.

wubwubwubwub 04-01-2013 03:22 PM

What would the price on Burmi be? 1st + top 9er?

JetsHomer 04-01-2013 03:24 PM

Lawless is terrible. I don't give him any more creliability than a HFboard poster.

Well, this is slightly paradoxical.

canucksfan100 04-01-2013 03:26 PM

how would this be for both Teams... Burmi + Hainsey for Fowler and ?

umwoz 04-01-2013 03:26 PM

Lawless is far from reliable.

Marty Straka 04-01-2013 03:28 PM

So.. Lawless goes from most reliable Jets insider.. to worst.. anywho..

Burmistrov is the exact type of player GMBM would look to deal for... young.. in need of a change of scenery like the Turris deal.. now what would it take from a Sens PoV?

RW scoring. I don't see a pure sell as we're on top of the SE division and have a good schedule the rest of the year.

Don't need RHD or C. Could use 3rd liners as well. Our LHD situation hasn't solidified, we don't know if Hainsey will re-sign or how Kulda will turn out.

Chevy has a hard-on for size. This year he has picked up:

Jokinen 6'2" 210
Tangradi 6'4" 221
Wright 6'4" 200
Peluso 6'3" 235

I've always thought Pominville would be a great fit in WPG..wonder if a hockey trade like Poms/Burmi (+pieces to even it out) could be made. If Pominville would be ok with going there.

tsujimoto74 04-01-2013 03:35 PM

What would it take to get Burmistrov to Buffalo?

As much as I'd hate to give up Burmi I could really see him doing well and contributing in Nashville's defensive system. I think the Preds would be a good place for him to end up.

umwoz 04-01-2013 03:37 PM

Lawless isn't an insider, period.
