Marc-Andre Bergeron about to be traded?

Interesting, only because of tomorrow's trade deadline, that D Bergeron was on the ice and then seemed to be pulled off.

Earlier this year there were rumors about Ottawa, but their defence is mostly healthy now, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was to elsewhere.

This head line could be copy and pasted from the last 8 years. :)

Patmac40 04-02-2013 10:45 AM

Where would he be a good fit?

Kris Chreider 04-02-2013 10:45 AM

Any hints where to? I'd take him on the Rangers for a low pick or a low end prospect.

White Goodman 04-02-2013 10:45 AM

Not to the Sens... not to the Sens... not to the Sens..

Nowhere, but I'm hoping somebody takes him anyway.

IdealisticSniper 04-02-2013 10:46 AM

Ill be happy with a 4th round pick. Anything better is gravy.

Great guy, still useful, just no room for him in TB.

SnS 04-02-2013 10:46 AM

Flyers need D-men bodies, I'd think. But maybe they used up that deal with getting Huskins?

Probably as a winger.

Exit Dose 04-02-2013 10:47 AM

I have a hunch that this is us.

Grandpabuzz 04-02-2013 10:47 AM

Boston be a good fit to help their PP?

Billy Mays Here 04-02-2013 10:48 AM

Back to Minnesota for him. :sarcasm:

mavstar 04-02-2013 10:50 AM

Is he a right-handed shot? Canucks need PP help, desperately.

Rangers make sense to me if the rumors about Dan Boyle staying in San Jose are true. I hope it happens, the Tortorella death stares when Bergeron wanders away and loses his check would be amazing.

He blows, stay far away.

Ih8theislanders 04-02-2013 10:51 AM

Wouldn't mind him on the Rangers for cheap.

I was just thinking the same thing. This has Murray written all over it.

Yes.

The YzerJesus 04-02-2013 10:52 AM

Hell of a shot. Tampa fans make him out to be so much worse defensively than he actually is. He's not bad given his size. Would also be a good addition to a PP.

It buys time for Sami. You could tell that they really wanted to force that issue when he came up.

davenash 04-02-2013 10:53 AM

He can be useful on the PP, has a pretty good shot, but he gets injured a lot and tends to make stupid mistakes on defense.

He had a good year in Montreal but I do not want to see him back.
