Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Random Prospects [Apr 3.2013]

Let's do them in again.
This time we embarass them in that giant Maxipad they call home.

This will be huge for our confidence and playoff hopes.

GO OILERS GO

BAGS STAY ON

Jimmi McJenkins 04-02-2013 10:04 AM

Hey now, it's the Best group of random prospects "not in the NHL"...probhopefully.

Koto 04-02-2013 10:05 AM

GreatMcKeith 04-02-2013 10:10 AM

Well I know that to be true!
Jay Feaster would never spew nonsense!

HarrisonFord 04-02-2013 10:18 AM

Hey guys, Leafs fan coming in peace.

How's Mike Brown been for you guys so far? I noticed today that Yakupov's twitter picture is of Brownie scrapping, so I'm guessing at least the guys in the Oilers dressing room like him

He was exactly what our fourth line needed. Love him!

McDoused 04-02-2013 10:25 AM

It's funny because our prospects are still much better than their prospects. To be fair they still have Cammy, Gio, GlenX, Kipper and Hudler.

Exactly

GreatMcKeith 04-02-2013 10:29 AM

If Kipprusoff plays we likely win. If MacDonald plays... Hmm.

McClutchen 04-02-2013 10:31 AM

Hopefully it truly is a deep draft for their sake, and they also can make some noise in free agency( I hope it’s not and they don’t). On the games note, I doubt Kipper is around, I am sure he has to be fed up with being hung out to dry by his team. I can see him being moved.

McNutty780 04-02-2013 10:31 AM

Need more shots. Keep it going. This is a must win.

I feel like one slip up and we're ****ed. We used all of our mulligans on that god awful losing streak on the road.

Thats great, glad you guys like him! :handclap:

His teammates (at least in TO) seemed to like him more than your average 4th line energy guy

oilersfan11 04-02-2013 10:48 AM

It puzzles me on why we can't play against the Flames like we did against the Canucks.

Someone should figure out what our record is since the Brown trade

Score early and give them basically no hope? Well they are generally hopeless to begin with, and it's one of those things with horrible teams, the suck the life and quality of play out of all the games they play.

I may be way off base with this, but...

This season I see the Canucks as the bigger rivals with the Oilers than the Flames.

I think it was a let down from the big win over the Canucks, plus they got complacent playing at home, also they saw it as an easy win so they didn't feel they had to go all out.

I think the hostile crowd in Calgary will spur them on and they'll play much better.

I still can't believe they were widely outshot by that lousy team.

CorpseFX 04-02-2013 11:06 AM

Hall has to continue his lunatic streak if this team has any chance to make the playoffs. its a shortened season - all fuel must be spend on these final games.

interested in what Tambo does at the deadline.

Pennertration 04-02-2013 11:06 AM

Better to be wandering in the desert than wandering on the ice.

Suck it Feaster!

If that's the case, then we definitely won't be making the playoffs. It would seem that we still have to be taught a few lessons.

joestevens29 04-02-2013 11:16 AM

I'm so nervous now when we play them as we should be spanking them. They ever beat us we will never hear the end of it.

Sethis 04-02-2013 11:23 AM

This is a completely different team at home. I hope Krueger's got them prepared and they're not too big on themselves.

Still a very winnable, must-win game. I'll stick with the same prediction I had last time: 5-2 Edmonton (all goals and assists by Taylor Hall).

moot point.

happened around the same time as the horcoff return, which has made a huge difference.

brown is more coincidence (he is an upgrade on eager and hordichuck though)

s7ark 04-02-2013 11:35 AM

If we want to make the playoffs the 3 games against the Flames and Avs are simply must haves. I hope the Oilers don't get too high on themselves and take those nights off.
