Rags Retires

Too bad, he was a solid if not flashy D-man.

Bye Bye

Toonces 04-17-2005 10:50 AM

Rags is not going to be easy to replace.

Good luck to him.

Time to get a new top 4 defenseman. I hope it's someone big and mean. Farewell to Rags, a good player and a good guy.

Does this mean that the team will finally give Seidenberg a chance?

Ragnarsson "retirement" is only from the NHL, and its old news its been known for over a month. He`s is going to play for Almtuna a swedish Tier-II team.

See this thread: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=134953

That's Kenny Jönsson, not Kim Johnsson, different last and first names should've given you a hint ;)

Well theres going to be lots of UFAs and lots of teams struggling to trade players to make space for cap room. This is the best time he could have retired, his salary can go to a player just as good.

pitkanen>bouwmeester 04-19-2005 12:33 PM

I just don't get why he would retire....

He wasn't that old, and was an UFA if I am not mistaken

He's not retiring. Just ask the fans who hold him the dearest. The fans of Almtuna.

Rabid Husky 04-19-2005 01:17 PM

Fine...but he is retiring from the NHL and here, that's all that matters

He's retired from the best professional hockey league in the world. And the Flyers on top of that. Now that's sad. I hope he enjoys the euro pond hockey, i'm sure it will be easier on his body.
