This one is confusing, Phoenix is the only team he will be good with.

JJTT 04-03-2013 03:23 PM

he is not really a solution for their 2c problem

416Leafer 04-03-2013 03:24 PM

:( That means we won't get the conditional pick. He was supposed to resign in Phoenix!

Quack 04-03-2013 03:24 PM

I like it!

GetThePuckOut 04-03-2013 03:24 PM

Lombardi's a super cool guy. Nice as they come. Hopefully he does well in Anaheim.

mightyquack 04-03-2013 03:24 PM

Meh, wasn't expecting to get a huge piece with the prices where they are at, hopefully he can find some solid form playing with Palms/Teemu/Etem etc

He's not meant to be.

True that. Every time I've met him, he's been really nice.

Unagi 04-03-2013 03:26 PM

Can he play center? I remember him playing wing for some time now?

markisonfire 04-03-2013 03:26 PM

Ugh, dammit. He kills the Kings.

He's a natural center.

Yes. He does.

Unagi 04-03-2013 03:28 PM

Hope he finds some chemestry with Ryan then.

JMcLeaf 04-03-2013 03:28 PM

for Brandon McMillan

Fleury14 04-03-2013 03:29 PM

A lot of speed up front for Anaheim, and Lombardi can play a fast style. It's a good chance for him to rebound, playing in Boudreau's system.

Rivet52 04-03-2013 03:29 PM

Phoenix trading guys within the division.

Let's see the return. Gives some depth to the Ducks for the playoffs but they really haven't made a move up until now so I question how they'll do.

Vip 04-03-2013 03:29 PM

Loved Lombo in PHX.. One of my favorite Coyotes ever. Such a down to earth guy..

Hope he tears it up in ANA.

IHaveNoCreativity 04-03-2013 03:29 PM

Good move for Anaheim, he's going to help a lot. Does it all.

I like it. Lombardi adds depth, and we didn't give up anything significant(now, or looking ahead).

Force951 04-03-2013 03:30 PM

Sucks to see McMillan go, but not sure he was going to get a shot at the 3rd line for a few years.

Internazionale 04-03-2013 03:31 PM

Hopefully Lombardi plays with Palmieri. Great pick up for the ducks.

this just simply isn't true... He's not a top 9 forward anymore. The ducks missed out badly on Derek Roy so they settled for Lombo.

That's why I like the fit, and this isn't a deal meant to change Anaheim's strengths. It just adds to it.
