Glen Sather Appreciation Thread

Sather brings in three guys, they combine for 4 goals, 4 assists, 8 points in one game against the top team in the east. :handclap:

Nahh

Now you've gone too far. An owner that remotely cared about hockey would have fired him in 2003.

KingWantsCup 04-03-2013 09:58 PM

Hey, he got the depth we lacked back and kicked the crap out of a team we never beat, that just so happens to be first in the league. It is just one game, but the only win that would be bigger than this would be winning in Montreal. Here's to hoping they keep it up.

What a joke.

is that a cigar? I was kinda shocked when I saw this on tv

It's OK to be happy guys, it really is, but it's way, way too early to judge these trades. Teams always get a bump after some moves (players/coach/etc.) are made. Let's ease up on the Slats fellating for a few weeks at least.

Always puffing an unlit cigar.

he does seem to have a knack for making good trades.

I find it difficult to applaud the Banff Buffoon.

He talked about what he could do (pre-cap days, admittedly), and what has he done?

We have a Sather thread and frankly this is both getting nowhere and rather unnecessary.
