With Erat now gone, who do we bring up (if anyone) and what will the lines now be? We still have Wilson and Fisher still out. So what will they look like?

triggrman 04-03-2013 10:08 PM

Fisher still out with that hand?

Top 6 Spaling 04-03-2013 10:29 PM

All I know is 56-11-27 needs to stay together.

Agreed.

Anyone know Bourque's status. April?

With Erat gone that means Butler is going to play and get his chance. I'd just stick Butler in place of Erat and see what happens. Mueller is back in case Fisher can't play.

Apparently he may be back as soon as Saturday, granted thats Trotz saying that. Bourque may look mighty nice with Kostitsyn and Fisher as well.

Tomorrows game might be a disaster.

Beck - Legwand - Hornqvist
Kostitsyn - Gaustad- Butler?
Clune - Smith - Yip
Halischuk - Spaling - ???

for the past couple of games, and probably for a couple more...

Nashville Transplant 04-04-2013 12:03 AM

(4th line) Mueller will center Halischuk and Yip

(3rd line) Spaling will center Smith and Clune

I guess Butler comes back in with Kostitsyn and Gaustad

and of course, the whole Beck, Legwand and Hornqvist thing.

Not many other options at this point, but when Bourque, Fisher, Wilson, and all the other top 6 forwards come back from injury (grin)... then we can march to the Cup.

I heard he made the last road trip though. Usually that means day to day.

I am guessing if he can grip a stick, he will play

They recalled Mueller last night, so Smith should be staying on the wing.

Beck-Legwand-Hornqvist
Kostitsyn-Gaustad-Smith
Butler-Spaling-Yip
Halischuk-Mueller-Clune

Or along those lines. Once Fisher and Bourque are healthy...

Beck-Legwand-Bourque
Kostitsyn-Fisher-Hornqvist
Smith-Spaling-Yip/Butler
Mueller/Halischuk-Gaustad-Clune

I really want Watson to get a look at some point, but I'm not convinced that will happen until we know what's going to happen with the Ads; he's their leading goal scorer, after all.

I can see Watson making the team out of camp next season too. He looks like the real deal.
