Let's try to win

Jacko95 04-06-2013 09:28 AM

Maybe Cooper and Bishop can steal this one for us, because the rest of the teams seems to play bad every game against the Islanders.

2 Weekes Notice 04-06-2013 10:19 AM

Are we planning on rolling out ya Bish 2 nights in a row here? Definitely gonna need him against Washington, but I'd certainly like him tonight too.

Xenophobia Catalyst 04-06-2013 10:57 AM

Wins are nice.

dbieon12 04-06-2013 11:18 AM

Win an in.

Those videos are depressing.

DangleDoppler 04-06-2013 11:22 AM

This is one of those notorious "4 point" games commentators like to talk about, right?

No Victor Hedman on the ice for #tblightning morning skate, have to assume that means he won't play tonight

FDfranklin 04-06-2013 12:09 PM

Ben Bishop gets the start tonight for the Lightning. Hedman will not play (lower body, day to day).

Yikes! Stressful weekend worth of games...:scared:

I just hope Bishop is starting in both.

CC321 04-06-2013 12:37 PM

I believe if we score more goals than the other team, we will have a good chance of winning.

Doctor Drej 04-06-2013 12:47 PM

Wouldn't surprise me to see Bishop start tomorrow too. Both games equally important. Islanders are 7th in conference and Washington is the division leader.

zeykshade 04-06-2013 12:52 PM

Sucks to lose a #1 D prior to 2 of the biggest games of the season.

I Am Beat You 04-06-2013 12:58 PM

So is Money Trees the new victory song if we win with Bishop in net?

zeykshade 04-06-2013 01:07 PM

Scoreboards to Watch:

Panthers v Caps, Root for Panthers
Flyers v Jets, Root for Flyers (I know, I taste vomit when I think of doing this too)
Devils v Leafs, Root for Leafs
Canes v Rangers, Root for Rangers

TurboBrick 04-06-2013 01:30 PM

The Caps game is more important. I wouldn't be surprised if the SE division winner would not even make the playoffs in the end if all the spots were awarded only on points.

No. A game within the same division is normally considered a 4-pt'er, as it's about taking the two points and denying them to the other team in the division race.

Games within the same conference, like every game this season, would be considered a 3-pt'er.

Scottyk9 04-06-2013 02:16 PM

please win

Sear91 04-06-2013 03:00 PM

Of course the biggest game of the season is against the Islanders...

The YzerJesus 04-06-2013 03:35 PM

Hopefully the Sens fans were right. They said even if a key defenseman/any player goes down, Bishop will be there to hide it. We also suck against the Islanders.

Bish, please.

Felonious Python 04-06-2013 04:48 PM

Of course, no Hedman.

The Sens fans that came to our board indicated that they post it every GDT where he starts. Win or not.

That doesn't have to be the way it is here, but if somebody posts it every time Bishop wins, I guess that's his victory song.

TheDaysOf 04 04-06-2013 06:07 PM

Nate Thompson will make his return tonight after serving a two-game suspension. He had to wait for it, but he will be playing in his 300th career game tonight.

Felonious Python 04-06-2013 06:37 PM

bow tie

games in hand

proverbial 4-pt game

TheDaysOf 04 04-06-2013 06:42 PM

IslesRock4 04-06-2013 06:44 PM

Hey guys. Matt Moulson is a late scratch for the Isles, going to miss his first game as an Islander. Has played 284 straight games.
