First post on here! :D

Anyone excited for Man of Steel?

AndyPipkin 04-06-2013 10:52 AM

^ Not really.

I don't care what people say, I'm pumped for Wolverine.

Never seen any of the X-men movies. People keep on saying I should though...along with Star Wars, Star Trek and the LOTR trilogy.

Why do you hate yourself so much to not allow yourself to watch such masterpieces?

That is a lot of good movies to have not seen.

I'm a little late to Star Trek, but I've seen most of them now.

I'm a huge Superman fan (my favorite superhero) and will likely watch the movie, but the trailers haven't left me impressed.

Call me old school, but I don't see why every single film franchise needs a "gritty reboot". Superman - IMO - is supposed to be like apple pie; the consumate good guy. Leave the moping, agitated, anti-hero stuff to the Batmans and Wolverines of the world.

Don't lump us all together. I marathon Star Wars on the reg. I have to watch the originals, can't stand the digitally remastered ones.

I wore out my original cassettes eons ago. Unfortunately, I had to get the Special Edition DVDs. (Greedo shooting first...what the hell, George...)

Still - the OT are my favorite movies of all time, bar none. I've seen each one over 100 times.

Bruce Willis makes it at least a 9

Reverend Mayhem 04-06-2013 01:15 PM

I seriously wasted my entire summer in 2005 watching the Original Trilogy...

Reverend Mayhem 04-06-2013 01:19 PM

Did the third Transformers movie really make $1.12 billion at the box office? Holy ****.

Eddy Punch Clock 04-06-2013 01:22 PM

Anyone else catch Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead last night/or earlier this morning on the Food network?

This fat guy is gonna get a quality juicer with the tax return and do a "reboot".

Thought it was just okay, better than the 2nd one by far though.

First one is still the best IMO.

nameless1 04-06-2013 01:44 PM

Michael Bay...
:shakehead

I didn't even watch the first or third one. Judging by the second one, I'd say it overachieved here.
