Eberle or Yak - Which one do you trade?

If the team was going to trade either Eberle or Yak in the off season which player would you trade away?

I would trade Eberle, I like Yak's over all game better. Yak has a better shot, is harder to move off the puck, wins more puck battles and I like is over all game better.

Sheikyerbouti 04-11-2013 11:22 PM

neither

The Bored Man 04-11-2013 11:22 PM

Neither.

Diamondillium 04-11-2013 11:22 PM

Neither.

rockinghockey 04-11-2013 11:23 PM

It is just a simple question, not saying it is going to happen, gee guys stop taking things so serious.

oilers4cup 04-11-2013 11:23 PM

Neither

oilersfan11 04-11-2013 11:25 PM

If it has to happen....

Jordan Eberle for a top defenseman

CantHaveTkachev 04-11-2013 11:26 PM

neither...

although Eberle hasn't been "clutch" all year, I expect him to rebound next year...too much skill

dnicks17 04-11-2013 11:27 PM

Eberle, AINEC.

topchowda 04-11-2013 11:27 PM

If OEL, Petro, Shattenkirk, Suban are coming back

Eberle

But preferably neither.

Jimmi Jenkins 04-11-2013 11:27 PM

I would say neither, but the lack of plugs and Eberle's being fat, lazy and having peaked, leads me to want to trade him. Yakupov seems like he'll be one of those guys that can create offense and generate energy himself, plus he has a bit of a game breaking quality.

Though, Yak is Russian, so yeah.

There is nothing more serious in this world than hypothetical questions.

Distinct 04-11-2013 11:27 PM

I'd trade Eberle before Yak. Due to Yaks physicality, he brings an element that Eberle does not.

Joey Moss 04-11-2013 11:28 PM

Neither AINEC.

Diamondillium 04-11-2013 11:28 PM

Eberle's vote percentage of 100% is clearly unsustainable.

OEL and Petro will never be traded, our team is too small to have Shattenkirk on our team and would Suban be just as good without Markov.

This is what I'm thinking too.

If you're being offered one of those players for Eberle, you simply have to take the deal.

TowMater14 04-11-2013 11:32 PM

Ainec

MetaOil1993 04-11-2013 11:33 PM

Wow how about neither? If we come to a point when we HAVE to trade one of them then so be it the time isn't now. Eberle has me beyond frustrated this year but he will rebound and Yak is still young and raw he will only improve. These 2 or the other big 3 aren't the problem its management and our so called "Vets" on the team, I am talking to you Horcoff, Smyth, Whitney, Hemsky...

Yakupov can replace Eberle while Eberle can fill the need of acquiring a top young pairing defenseman.

Psycho Dad 04-11-2013 11:36 PM

Hemsky.

OilDrop37 04-11-2013 11:37 PM

65-75 point wingers are easier to come by then a #1-#2 D-man. Teams simply aren't going to trade an OEL, Subban, Pietro, Doughty, Letang type of defenceman for Eberle..they just aren't.

I'm not interested in trading him for a defensive prospect.

Usual_Suspect 04-11-2013 11:44 PM

You get annoyed when people say that neither player should be traded and then you tell someone who plays along with you that the players they suggested will never be traded. :shakehead

How was I defensive?

Yakupov can't replace Eberle on the top line right now, If he can then who replaces Yakupov on the second line? Don't tell me Hemsky, Hemsky has played like **** for the most part of the season.

5RingsAndABeer 04-11-2013 11:45 PM

Neither, but if I had to choose, Eberle.
