Lets Go Hawks!

Get the Wings on the back end of a back to back and it went to OT last night. Jump on them early, make them quit.

No Fun Shogun 04-12-2013 11:43 AM

Going to stink playing those guys only twice a year going forward....

HockeyGuy73 04-12-2013 11:48 AM

Good luck Chi-Town. I wish I could watch this one, potential 1st round match up.

TorMenT 04-12-2013 11:55 AM

Might miss the first period of this game, but ill catch the rest. Probably going to get trashed tonight. First Saturday off in the last 4.

Cullksinikers 04-12-2013 12:31 PM

Drew Miller on the second line? Ouch.

No kidding on Drew Miller being up there.

Best of luck tonight, will miss seeing this more next season but do prefer the move east for the organization. Plus once Holland gets things together they could meet up in an epic Cup final.

The Wings really need this game expect a big effort, doubt it will be enough with the way the Hawks are playing. Hope for no injuries and a good hockey game with lots of flow.

Penosity 04-12-2013 01:17 PM

Just win baby.

Alright, Al Davis.

Bubba88 04-12-2013 02:11 PM

whatever it takes to get the Wings missing the POs

BobbyJet 04-12-2013 02:59 PM

I am not at home tonight. Hopefully I can find a link to watch. If anyone could post one, that would be much appreciated.

It's in the OP...

Trance Kuja 04-12-2013 04:57 PM

Eviscerate them.

DisgruntledHawkFan 04-12-2013 05:17 PM

Bury them early

GenericHawksName 04-12-2013 06:12 PM

Leave our conference will you? Enjoy missing the playoffs.

MadhouseOnMadison 04-12-2013 06:41 PM

Wings need this one way more than we do. I expect them to come out strong and pull off a close win.

Retail1LO 04-12-2013 06:54 PM

Unless you're completely without soul...this truly is a bit of a sad day. No matter what you think of the Wings...the rivalry is one of the richest in all of professional sports. The fact we'll now be the lone Original 6 team in this conference...the fact we'll only see Detroit in our barn as many times per year as any other O6 team...is just unbelievable. The stories of the O6 going forward, will largely be written without us. No longer will we whoop up on Columbus. No longer will we play the winged wheel. So long Wings and Jackets....hello Jets, Stars, and Wild. Yay. Not.

Still...I hope we post a ****ing bakers dozen on those ****ing toolbags so that at the end of the season they miss the playoffs by goal differential.

Then I hope we meet them next season in the Cup final and beat them so bad, we win the series by a sweep, 3-0.

Tough to say what will happen.

DET will be mad about last game, and will want revenge.
DET played last night, and CHI is fairly rested.
DET is fighting for the playoffs, CHI is preparing for them.

Could go any way, hoping to send the Wings off witha pounding though, but that can wait till the playoffs, would love to beat them in RD 1.

Didn't see that. Thank-you. Go Hawks.

I too feel a bit of a letdown now that Wings are going East. The games vs them are always entertaining and generally we see highly skilled hockey on display.

Sort of my thoughts too. I really don't like the two teams switching conferences. It just seems wrong.

...but living in the Metro Detroit area, I'd prefer the farewell come in the playoffs....1) because it's a good matchup...and 2) because it would be that much more satisfying.

No Fun Shogun 04-12-2013 08:39 PM

Let's do this thing.

ndgt10 04-12-2013 08:40 PM

Stadium looks ridiculously dark tonight on TV.
