Breakthrough Player of the Season (excluding rookies)
Who is your breakthrough player for the 12/13 season?

Yashintangibles 04-12-2013 11:33 AM

Ovechkin :sarcasm:

WarriorofTime 04-12-2013 11:36 AM

Subban, Voracek, Kadri, Hall, Gagner, Stepan, Voynov, Bobrovsky.

Broshie74 04-12-2013 11:37 AM

It's has got to be PK.

7even 04-12-2013 11:39 AM

I think this is one of the rare times where it actually is Kadri. Everyone else up there was at the very least established at the NHL level. Kadri and Bobrovsky for me.

Benny FTW 04-12-2013 11:40 AM

Subban or Voracek.

Kreider 04-12-2013 11:45 AM

The guy that was a bust

vanwest 04-12-2013 12:08 PM

It has to be Kadri. Most labelled him a bust before the season. Even those who had more patience probably never saw him playing at this level so soon.

PhillyBluesFan 04-12-2013 12:10 PM

Craig Anderson AINEC

Hennig 04-12-2013 12:29 PM

Nazem "the dream" Kadri

marioni 04-12-2013 12:31 PM

Kadri, after him it's Bob.

Confound 04-12-2013 12:40 PM

Kadri, Subban, Voracek, Bob is the top 4.

At least of each position.

tarheelhockey 04-12-2013 12:43 PM

How on earth is Tlusty not an option here?

Anderson has been great, but he isn't a "breakthrough" player. He has been an on-again off-again stud for like 5 years now.

Izzy 04-12-2013 12:45 PM

Kadri or Bobrovsky.

Penosity 04-12-2013 12:51 PM

Easily Kadri.

Not sure if serious........

Andy's breakout year was 2009-2010 with the Avs. Anyone who watched him then and on knew he is a great goaltender, this definitely was not his breakout year.

Kadri by a good amount.

Leave Spezza Alone 04-12-2013 01:29 PM

Nazem Kadri. The guy is a player.

Didnt know you could have a breakout season in 17 games played. Especially when you already had your breakout season several years ago

Absolutely agree... My order..

Subban is the best player of the group but I place him last only because he was the best before the year started too by a good margin.

MastuhNinks 04-12-2013 02:40 PM

Has to be Kadri or Bobrovsky.

Hall and Subban have had good seasons in the past and, especially in Hall's case, he was expected to get where he is now eventually.

Beverage 04-12-2013 02:48 PM

Voted Kadri but Bobrovsky was a close second.

msrulo 04-12-2013 02:52 PM

I gave my vote to OEL, he's been really good this season.

5RingsAndABeer 04-12-2013 02:53 PM

Everyone that actually watched Hall and OEL knew they were good players

darglor 04-12-2013 02:55 PM

I don't understand why Anderson, OEL, Subban or Hall are even options on the poll...

DuckJet 04-12-2013 02:55 PM

Kadri or Bobrovsky. Every one else should've already been recognized as big talents. And defensively Beauchemin is about on par if not a little better than last year. He's just been breaking through offensively better. Souray has helped him with that.
