Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Boston Bruins

Too bad that Steve MacIntyre was not dressed today. A Steve MacIntyre and Shawn Thornton fight would have been great.

Win Glass
Draw

MichiganWolverines 04-20-2013 01:09 PM

Small scrum developed midway through the second period. Deryk Engelland was roughing up Brad Marchand.

MichiganWolverines 04-20-2013 01:13 PM

Zdeno Chara went after Matt Cooke. The reason is that Matt Cooke delivered a hip-check on Adam McQuaid (who looked a little bit hurt).

TennisMenace 04-20-2013 01:21 PM

Win Glass

No punches other

Duffman955 04-20-2013 01:25 PM

Glass with a nice win against Mcquaid.

The other fight was more of a stumbling match.

Englland vs Thonrton would be a good fight

MichiganWolverines 04-20-2013 01:45 PM

Brad Marchand tried to fight Jussi Jokinen. Pittsburgh gets a PP, and Jarome Iginla scores on a slap shot.

MichiganWolverines 04-20-2013 01:48 PM

Tyler Kennedy wants Brad Marchand. I might be wrong.

DJ Breadman 04-20-2013 02:05 PM

Easy win for Glass, and Win for iggy too he took horton out of the game

Renner* 04-20-2013 03:02 PM

lol why even show the second video. That was some nice cuddling though!

Glass with the win.

Analyzer* 04-20-2013 03:32 PM

Iginla and Horton got 5 each for that ?

Roughing at the most.

IAmBobo 04-20-2013 05:43 PM

SchennSational1022* 04-20-2013 10:22 PM

No idea why Marchand went after Jokinen or why Chara decided to rough up Cooke for a perfectly legal hip check.

Because it was a perfectly legal hip check that could have blown a knee out or cause other injury and was pretty cheap.

Legal doesn't always equal clean.

It hit him in the thigh, just took the hit in an awkward position. But if Chara wants to give away a PP and take himself off the ice then more power to him.

Why is it that Matt Cooke always finds himself in the middle of the 'it was a clean hit, it just.." kind of discussions.

I don't even know how anyone can't just call him what he is. That the Penguins, Lemieux, and Shero defend him to no end and then call out everyone who hit Crosby any which way is so hypocritical.

Also was shocked and excited but the Horton vs. Iginla fight, and then terribly disappointed, all in the span of about 5 seconds!!

McQuaid isn't exactly a superstar fighter.

Much has been made of McQuaid's toughness - some of it well earned, some of it hype. Either way, I didn't expect Glass to acquit himself quite as well as he did here. Nice victory for him.

The other fight was nothing. Looked like Horton hurt his hand when they fell?

Bi Coastal Bawse* 04-22-2013 04:48 PM

Horton is injured

McQuaid is tough this year has been tough for him with injuries. He fights better when he has emotion behind it.

CookieCrumbs* 04-22-2013 07:35 PM

Any video of this hit?

Dont Hinder Jinder 04-22-2013 08:23 PM

Point that nobody has made, nice respect by Iggy and Horton with taking off the helmets, even if the fight didn't amount to anything

McQuaid isn't what he used to be when it comes to fighting. He's had some injuries that have really slowed him down. Still a tough kid, but not what he was just last year for instance.

Assume you mean the Cooke hit on McQuaid?

What's the deal with Horton? is it a day to day injury or something more serious?
