QMJHL Baie-Comeau vs. Blainville-Boisbriand Post-Game Brawl

offbeatgravy 04-24-2013 09:46 PM

Awesome! Crazy way to end a game!

BigTuna49 04-24-2013 09:51 PM

Awesome yet incredibly stupid at the same time...

sctvman 04-24-2013 09:55 PM

Imagine how many suspensions will come from that.

BoHorvatFan 04-24-2013 10:11 PM

Glad we don't see that pointless nonsense often.Dangerous and uncalled for.

TrueNorthGooner 04-24-2013 10:39 PM

So ridiculous.

Stad 04-24-2013 10:41 PM

That was awesome. Anyone got a video of the fights close up? like a TV feed?

Stad 04-24-2013 10:43 PM

Way better video.

Gene Parmesan 04-24-2013 10:52 PM

That was a terrible brawl.

BigTuna49 04-25-2013 02:06 AM

Can someone who knows the situation better tell me if any prior history or bad blood between these teams actually warranted this or was it just kids being, well, stupid?

JJTT 04-25-2013 02:22 AM

Well, Paquette (B-B) was taunting the Baie-Comeau players after the horn... Consequently, he was jumped.

It's all interpretation.

Codith 04-25-2013 08:07 AM

Whatever these guys want to do to make it easier for the Moose, I'm all for it

tarheelhockey 04-25-2013 08:51 AM

You can tell there were several guys out there who were purely taking advantage of the situation to just grab someone and start throwing. Half of them didn't even look like they were upset, just going about their business as if this was routine. Just a weird, pointless brawl.

bud12 04-25-2013 09:03 AM

awesome. good old hockey game. Where was Noreau?

Yes, not fun. For me, this is boring to watch. I've watch so many of these that does'nt see the fun of it. And it's sad because seems the it was a great hockey game.

"The suspensions included the two goaltenders from each team, who traded punches with each other. The teams will have to use third-string goalies in Game 5."

:amazed:

how the guy who started it ( Paquette ?) only got a fine is beyond me. I don't see how the coaches got two games, they didnt send players over the boards the players came onto the ice at the end of the game. sure they might have been yelling at each other but when you have both benches on the ice and one team has a beef with a guy rubbing in a loss, its a surprise that a donnybrooke does not turn out.

There werent that many " great" fights and a lot of guys went unimpeded by the linesmen then mutually decided to stop.

But forcing the third string goalies to play in the playoffs seems pretty strong of a punishment.

The problem is that the game was over. Fights during the game happen all the time and its no big deal. However, this time the game is over. The penalties must be harsh IMO

Plus, each team had 2 goalies that fought so I guess they get the boot.

dont like the time....dont do the crime
