Last Game of Regular Season •Sharks @ Kings• 7:30PM CSNCA KFOX

Last game of the regular season!!

Who do you guys want in the 1st round? Canucks, Blues, or Kings?

I heard that the Hawks are going to rest their top players against the Blues tomorrow so it's a good chance the Blues get the 4th seed. That would mean we play the Blues if we win and play the Canucks if we lose.

So GO SHARKS!?!?!

Danish Pastry 04-27-2013 01:56 AM

i think a sharks canucks series would be extremely exciting so would a kings series and i could go to the games but i really dont want to play the blues... i think the kings want the blues because they would steam roll them... i really really dont want to be forced to watch blues games shoot me now...

Oppa 04-27-2013 02:26 AM

pssshh, who would want to see Jumbo slide around on the ice again

...okay I do

Nighthock 04-27-2013 02:28 AM

Blues ... Payback.

Kitten Mittons 04-27-2013 02:28 AM

Not happening, gotta watch Chael P Sonnen get demolished.

So the only way we face the Kings in the playoffs is if we beat them in OT and the Blues lose?

Inub0i 04-27-2013 03:04 AM

Looks like I'm missing the game. Playing some 0th Ed. D&D with friends that day.

The only way to face them in the first round is to win in OT or SO while the Blues lose in regulation.

Plowevelski 04-27-2013 03:17 AM

Anybody but the Blues... That series last year was so incredibly boring. I can't believe we're in a situation where we could draw them again! :banghead:

Seriously if STL wins in regulation I'm all for jobbing to the Kings. Remember what happened last year as a result of that epic game 82 comeback?

I'd pick Vancouver and hope to face the Kings in a later round where it can get even more heated if we both make it that far. I wanted revenge on Vancouver last year for the 2011 BS with the stanchion and Marleau's empty net fail and we never got that since Boyle felt otherwise.

rangerssharks414 04-27-2013 05:30 AM

I voted for the Canucks. I really wanted to face the Ducks, but thanks for nothing, Minnesota.

Sharks lose 2-1

Kopitar, Williams
Pavelski

norcaltactics 04-27-2013 05:32 AM

Still bitter about that 2011 WCF. I want revenge with the nucks bad. Then meet kings later on.

slocal 04-27-2013 05:40 AM

We're all gonna die!!!!111

slocal 04-27-2013 05:40 AM

well...eventually

Shape 04-27-2013 08:48 AM

I want the team that has to come to the Tank for the first two. Mostly.

Wouldn't mind seeking the Nucks in the first round. Payback for that 2011 playoff as well...

Trojan35 04-27-2013 10:25 AM

Normally I'd say revenge on the Blues. But Blues hockey is like watching paint dry.

Also, Sharks still have unfinished business vs Vancouver as well. I didn't think the Sharks were significantly outplayed that series but got some bad bounces. Would like to see that matchup again now that Couture's on another level.

HOOCH2173 04-27-2013 10:39 AM

Hopefully this SNOG vaults me to sole possession of 1st place! Heh heh.

Sharks 3 (Burns, Footer and Scary Eyes Torres)
Kings 2 (Muzzin and Kopitar)

glasgow26 04-27-2013 11:07 AM

Anyone but the Blues! I think a series against the Canucks would be fun, so I'd be ok with the Sharks losing tonight if the Blues win. Hopefully we don't see a repeat of last year.

Barrie22 04-27-2013 11:56 AM

watch both teams realize that the blues already clinch 4th, and then just go into the game with back ups, stars resting, and the game might look like an ahl game.

but notice the difference between the nhl and the nba? nba players get sent home and told they aren't playing the game and the team gets fined. nhl does it, and its just another day in the neighbourhood.

Not again! I think there should be "Don't care who we face" option on the poll. Just win. Don't "job" anything.

lobsters 04-27-2013 12:16 PM

noob question: in what result will we face the kings in 1st round?

the only way the sharks can face the kings in round 1 is a sharks win in ot/shootout.

the blues would then have to lose in regulation, so the kings can take the tiebreaker over the blues.
