2013 Weather Thread

Thought I'd start a new one for this summer.

It's insanely windy here on the South Side with gusts probably nearing 85-90km/h - are we in for our first thunderstorm today?

Dorian2 04-27-2013 07:46 PM

There's dark clouds and wind gusts on the North end, but the sun pops out every once in a wgile.

Hopefully it will pas quickly. We need the rain though.

Replacement 04-27-2013 09:40 PM

I went for a bike ride to Beaumont and ended up in Camrose..

fysloc 04-29-2013 11:48 AM

As long as the snow melts and washes away all the dust and dirt before afternoon rushhour, its good to have.

With a little tinkering I'm trying to get it to be a time machine so I can drift back into the 80's and get back to the glory years. Forget that the last 20years of hockey ever happened..

I just need to find that extra gear here somewhere, a little more tinkering on the derailer maybe..

Lewy 04-29-2013 12:07 PM

Got home from Mexico late last night. Went straight to bed. Woke up to this... WTF?

oiler-dude 04-29-2013 12:09 PM

I'll take the blame for this one, guys...switched over to my summer tires this morning.

Yeah I had my tires at the front door last night. Wake up to this garbage. Still got em done though and Kaltire was the busiest I have ever seen it this morning.

timekeep 04-29-2013 12:33 PM

Light snow for today and a high of 20C for Thursday??

Tad Mikowsky 04-29-2013 12:34 PM

Roads aren't that bad, and there's not that much snow.

REading off facebook and twitter I thought there was a blizzard.

They're going to be real pissed when the May long weekend blizzard hits.

Bad? What were people expecting. Theres simply no way for snow to accumulate anywhere when air temperature is in the plus degrees and road temperature warmer.

Its basically like rain by the time it hits any surface.

Section337 04-29-2013 04:46 PM

I walked into work while being attacked by giant mutant snowflakes.

Senor Catface 04-29-2013 04:55 PM

Spring in Vancouver came in about March.

tv14 04-29-2013 05:04 PM

Here in Lethbridge it went from hail (and pretty sure I heard thunder), to rain, to snow. Not to mention the wind mixed in too. Do not like.

Koto 04-29-2013 05:52 PM

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndd ddddddddddddddd
