Worst case scenario

Higgins-third line winger
Perezhogin-third line winger
Kastitsyn-2nd line 20 goal scorer
Hossa-traded
Ward-2nd line 40 pts
koivu-no help
zednik-slumps
bulis-can't score or pass.. 3rd line center
urquhart and lapierre: never play in the nhl
balej-career ahler
ribeiro-scores 50 pts and brownnoses his way to the 2nd line center job

hainsey-25 pts, soft d
komisarek-no offense, poor reads a la souray
souray-reinjures wrist, career over
markov-soft d, one dimensional player

theodore-small, flash in the pan
garon-can't stop high shots

of course, if all this happens, it will mean that AS will have some juicy draft picks to use!

ok, your turn! :joker:

Aren't you supposed to be on your way to Boston to play the Bruins? Where do you have time to post here? Get to the weight room tout sweet!

Habber 09-25-2003 04:08 AM

I don't get it. :dunno:

Ribs - 50 pts worst case scenario? More like best case scenario. Worst case scenario is he gets cut, sucks in the AHL and gets released .

Better think that one again. The worst case scenario for Ribs is actually much worst than that (that's probably the best case scenario for him in fact)

Well that's very unlikely (read impossible to avoid ambiguity) since he's already a sound 2-way Dman.

Were you just depressed to come up with this thread? You might want to add to your worst case scenario "the plane in which the team travels crashes and there's no survivor".

But then we'd get Ovechkin and Crosby... :D

I just think there's too many ppl in this board who wish us to have 2 sucky years back to back to land 1st overall picks.

Come on guys, let's have some faith. Personally, all I wish for this season is that we finish in front of the Rangers.

Oh... And a short resolution of the CBA dilemna.

Brisebois 09-25-2003 03:36 PM

Worst case scenario-

We lose game 7 of the Eastern conference finals this year in overtime to Toronto when Saku Koivu mistakenly flips the puck into his own net.

No the worst case scenario couldn't have Koivu in it, because although he would be vilified in the French media, he would still be respected by everyone else. Now if Brisebois flipped it into his on net, all hell would break loose, if you thought the booing was bad now, can you imagine how quickly he would be off to Paris again. Crap, he might not even be welcome there.
