Omg.. the roster looks so horrible. It misses real 1st line. It's been a while when it has been like this.

Korpikoski not playing in this first game.

tikkanen5rings* 05-02-2013 03:35 PM

Finland 4-3 OT

TheFatOne 05-02-2013 03:36 PM

Nice that Pillu made the team.

tikkanen5rings* 05-02-2013 03:37 PM

Pillu karvaa

QnebO 05-02-2013 03:54 PM

Pillu's powder is wet obviousely. But he's good bottom 6.

Hariken 05-02-2013 03:57 PM

Aaltonen is so skilled. Will be a thrill to watch him.

Maverick41 05-02-2013 04:18 PM

So Germany has actually more NHL players on their roster than Finland, that's just not right.
Finland is still going to win. 4-1 or 5-1 would be my guess.

ficohok* 05-02-2013 04:21 PM

I don't see Noebels in first post. Will he play tomorrow ?

Juzmo 05-02-2013 04:21 PM

Should be pessimistic, but I'm guessing a 3-1 win for Finland.

Agreed. Pillu will be very important for the team and its spirit since we will need plenty of that positive attitude in order to go all the way.

44 05-02-2013 04:33 PM

Finland should win this one. Won't be easy though

vsk92 05-02-2013 04:35 PM

Looking forward for it to start.

Half day in college then go home to watch this game with some friends :handclap:

He is one of four players who are not officially on the roster yet. One will be added tomorrow. My guess it is going to be Pietta, but I hope it's Noebels.

We will have to wait and see.

Fin9* 05-02-2013 05:59 PM

3-2 Germany.

smi 05-02-2013 07:08 PM

I'm guessing they play more than 60 minutes. Expecting an ultra-tight game and a tighter Pillu.

thx for the input

Kschey 05-03-2013 02:23 AM

I'd really expect Germany to win if it wasn't the home opener for the Finns.
This way I guess it's still going to be closer than many people think.

RorschachWJK 05-03-2013 02:59 AM

Pillu on my mind ;-) Seriously, if we get decent goaltending, we should win this.

Lapa 05-03-2013 03:07 AM

Ortio plays great, we score the necessary goald. 3-0 Finland.

QnebO 05-03-2013 03:31 AM

I think this fairly unkown team has a lot of to show for, and they will play good. Relatively unknown guys even in Finland. I think all the first timer guys have their bags full of excitement. The team are def. going to play for Pillu.

Finnpin 05-03-2013 03:49 AM

"Well Pillu is always in my mind but let's jump first"

Oskar Osala not in the team :shakehead Jalonen doesn't like power forwards that hits a lot and can score some goals too.

Goal scoring will be a problem for this Finnish team again.

BalticWarrior 05-03-2013 04:01 AM

This will be a close one, 3-1 finalnd

Too much goals ;) I say 2-1 for Finland

Finnpin 05-03-2013 04:25 AM

Looking forward to see in this game new jumbotron with "Trend LED Screen" which image is better than in any NHL arena.

goodoldhockeygame 05-03-2013 04:42 AM

blowout win, and aaltonen scores a hattrick :sarcasm:

not really but i think this highly motivated newcomerteam will play good system and play tight. hopefully find the net......sooooo my guess:

Fin 2 : 0 Ger
