Hawks fall in OT to Wild 3-2 ,, Series 2-1 Hawks

1st line was awful as was the 3rd line

They need to get it together

cupojoe 05-05-2013 06:19 PM

meh cute win from the Wild. Hawks will still win this series so whatever....

Chris Hansen 05-05-2013 06:20 PM

In before the whining.

Played like crap and still took it to OT. Be awake for Game 4 and the result will be better.

HockeySensible 05-05-2013 06:20 PM

Well, that's a ****** ending, but that was also Minnesota's best game of the series and Chicago bit themselves in the ass too often.

The first round is always the toughest. Chicago's up 2-1. One game at a time.

Illinihockey 05-05-2013 06:20 PM

Lots of missed assigments/bad plays on the last goal.

Blackhawkswincup 05-05-2013 06:21 PM

It was also a weak goal by Crawford

Shades of last years OT Crawford

madgoat33 05-05-2013 06:21 PM

well we at least showed some balls at the end. entire last sequence was baaad though. bring on Tuesday, wasn't expecting to sweep anyway

UsernameWasTaken 05-05-2013 06:21 PM

rather than starting new PGTs it would be better to change the title of and unsticky the GDTs.

I'm not too upset about the loss. I had the Hawks in 5 in any event. It's arrogant to have assumed a sweep.

Illinihockey 05-05-2013 06:21 PM

I didn't think the hawks would sweep but I don't want this to be a long series either. Hopefully this is a wake up call and they win game 4. Bet we see lineup changes

Very weak. What the hell was he doing on his knees?

MadhouseOnMadison 05-05-2013 06:22 PM

It's like we're back in Phoenix again.

Sir Psycho T 05-05-2013 06:22 PM

Didn't think they would sweep so won't freak over 1 game.

Need a better performance next game, if they lose that, then I might get a little worried.

Esse 05-05-2013 06:22 PM

Crawford MOTM imo even though the goal in OT was a bit cheap. Bad game overall, still very confident we'll win this series pretty comfortably as long as the team doesn't play like they did today

Oh please, lets not start this **** up again. Oduya put the puck on a platter a foot away from the net and Zucker got it up. It was a bad play by Bickell, bad play by Shaw and bad play by Oduya.

This

ndgt10 05-05-2013 06:22 PM

Awful goal by Crawford. No defending that.

No Fun Shogun 05-05-2013 06:23 PM

Bad games happen. Just gotta rebound and if we come back to Chicago with a 3-1 series lead, today will be a distant memory.

It's one of his biggest weakness, he goes down and stays down. All 3 goals scored today as a result of him being down to early and don't being able to react to shots up high.

Because that's what butterfly (all goalies) do when the pucks behind the net, and close to the at that. If it was in the corner, he would have been up, but it was in tight around the net.

And a bad play by Crawford. He was brilliant all game long though so can't really blame him for anything today.

True, 2nd goal especially.

Sarava 05-05-2013 06:25 PM

Crow was awesome. Too bad it had to end with that softy.

Sadly, that's the one that counts.

Fortyfives 05-05-2013 06:26 PM

Dominated the entire game.

Every goal allowed their player was wide open in the slot. On the Parise goal two players were wide open in the slot.

Only good players were Kane and Crawford.

Still took it to overtime.

He was down too early on the Parise goal? In what way? He was all alone in front of the net. What was he suppose to do there, stand up and allow Parise to slip it through the 5-hole.

Goalies take away the bottom of the net. It's the way it is. Harding does it too.

The micro-scopic picking away of players games after things like that is ridiculous.
