Hell of a save and great show of athleticism but pretty fortunate Bergeron didn't shoot at the other 99% of the net.

Musashi 05-10-2013 07:34 PM

Wow that picture is incredible

the picture is going to be more incredible than the video haha, it was good but hardly thread worthy

Not the save of the playoffs but a good effort by Reimer and a lot of help from Bergeron.

Reiner closed down the angle a ton. There was only the far left up against the post that was still open.

Lilou 05-10-2013 08:11 PM

Reimer has been shutting up a lot of critics. Guy is probably the youngest starting goaltender in the league.

AINEC 05-10-2013 08:12 PM

That's about as little toe as you can get on a toe save.

The picture does make it look a little better, but you're kidding yourself if you think it's not a great save.

Varlamov, Bobrovsky, and Holtby are all younger.

Zirakzigil 05-10-2013 08:34 PM

Great save on a terrible defensive play. He should not have been all by himself on the side of the net like that.

Dave 05-10-2013 08:36 PM

Amazing save. Easily one of the best saves I've seen in a while.

Izzy 05-10-2013 08:39 PM

He has been fantastic tonight. Amazing save.

Man Bear Pig 05-10-2013 08:44 PM

Great saves are usually made by the opposition completely missing a wide open net. This is the case here.

canucksfan100 05-10-2013 08:45 PM

I expected more lol
Bergeron needs to shoot it into the open net, not right into his foot.

Hyperglide 05-10-2013 08:48 PM

And people say he's not athletic.

No, you are wrong. That is an amazingly athletic save on a perfectly placed shot considering the attacking player's body and stick position. Couldn't have had a finer line between save and goal there.

Great, dominant game by Reimer and the Leafs. I wish Price and the Canadiens had put forth this sort of effort yesterday.

Are you kidding me?

That was the save of the playoffs and likely a top 3 save of the year candidate.
