CT Scan of Fraser's Skull

Ouch.

Scientifically graphic. View at own risk

Emanresu Wen 05-11-2013 07:37 AM

Holy.

Pi 05-11-2013 07:38 AM

OMG. I hope he recovers quickly.

Very unfortunate play. I hope he wears a visor.

legendinblue 05-11-2013 07:40 AM

That looks terrible.

LordRamsay 05-11-2013 07:40 AM

Holy ****!

Igy 05-11-2013 07:41 AM

Wow..... I feel bad for the guy.

N4Z3M LUPUL 05-11-2013 07:43 AM

man he has a hard ****ing forehead, i cant believe there isnt brain damage involved with something like that. What a tough ****ing dude though.

LakeshoreWest 05-11-2013 07:44 AM

Thanks to Hurt for adding the warning. I thought the title might explain enough of what you can expect to see but wasn't sure of the policy.

Better safe than sorry and I'm just not in the mood for 'I threw up my breakfast!' PMs right now.

Neas Olc 05-11-2013 07:47 AM

Yikes, I actually play without a visor since I can't afford to shell out the 40 bucks for one right now. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and burn the money...

Mansfield 05-11-2013 07:55 AM

Wow. He's definitely not coming back any time soon...

How do they get the fractured bone to become "flat" again? Or is he going to have a dent forever?

Thee Implication 05-11-2013 08:10 AM

Jesus Christ

Plastic surgeons can work magic these days.

Toque* 05-11-2013 08:13 AM

Just a scratch. ...should be ready tomorrow.

FlareKnight 05-11-2013 08:17 AM

Damn...

bobbyflex 05-11-2013 08:17 AM

visors need to mandatory now. pucks are flying at higher speeds then ever.

Hope Fraser is okay...

iceblue 05-11-2013 08:19 AM

I work in the medical field and have seen plenty of CT scans but this one still made me go Yikes. Visors, please!

Edit: Good how this image can scare people into wearing visors but wonder how this private health information became public. Somebody's job on the line?

ErnieLeafs 05-11-2013 08:42 AM

I hate it, but I have to wear a full bubble at the point.

Concussions and one broken jaw already, so the Doc says no friggin' around.

Visors need to be worn, though. That's bloody terrifying.

therealkoho 05-11-2013 08:43 AM

the epitome of the "upper body injury!"

sangreale 05-11-2013 08:49 AM

I have a teeny bit of a headache just viewing that.

I had a CT brain scan once but the doctor said they found ... wait for it ... nothing. Buddaboom.

noBSleafsFAN 05-11-2013 08:51 AM

looks really bad, hope he's ok

Analyzer 05-11-2013 08:53 AM

Jesus Christ.

That looks terrible. Hope for the best for him.

sangreale 05-11-2013 08:55 AM

I was wondering why they had surgery to repair a fracture. I was visualizing a sort of hairline thing. But now it is clearer what they had to do. Wow.
